It is going the way of the Dodo bird. Unfortunate. A quicker way to put words to paper. We encourage kids to learn another language while taking away part of the language they speak. They won't be able to read ancient documents. Or their parents old love letters, There are fonts you can get to write in cursive on your computer. Try them.

Not in most public schools, which is a travesty. Children need to learn cursive to develop hand-eye coordination which also reinforces language acquisition and cognitive learning.
