I must admit I had not read anything of his before your post.. From the little I have read since he certainly seems to have a grasp of true reality..

I am going to read more as well.
Thank You for quoting him...

One of my favorite quotes since it describes exactly what happened with Obama.

Well, thank you, Alabuck, for taking note of my warnings as to the invalidity of the original thread post. But, as a matter of fact, a fellow Marine...JakeBrake, took notice also, while dismissing it...."Whether the article was true or simply satire makes no difference. This is Obama's obvious opinion of his self worth, importance. narcissism, and a reflection of his entitlement mentality which he has exhibited ever since he came on the political scene." Jake just simply failed to address me directly by hitting 'quote reply' prior to responding.

Sadly, posters from both sides of the ideological divide often choose not to let the facts get in the way of their arguments. C'est la vie.

Unfortunately very true what you say here, even when the debate of the issue is proven untrue or people allow their passion to dictate..

I am neither party affiliate and yet support more so the conservative theology and practice, to some degree anyway..

Often enough I neglect to say it both sides when debating ...It is never a You win or I win because obviously no one is winning in the mess of this nation and spending so much time by the parties to prove themselves rather than doing the job appointed or voted in to do..

I must say I do support President Trump and the rough edges are starting to be smoothed.. Evidence his speech in Poland.. He should keep his tweets down and continue to move forward with the business of the country and say to hell with the rest!!!

Sidetracked, I simply meant to say your observation here is fact.. Nor do I believe debating issues will ever change and am glad of that..! I learn more than expected and appreciate it... From both sides with the exception of a few I view as not worth debating...

I absolutely agree with you!!

I don't get it either but know he had strong ties to the NWO shakers and lots of contributions rolling in from Middle East names.. When it was brought up by the media one day, it left the next day..

As for the Nobel pride it was bought!! He needed an achievement in something since he had nothing to stand while being the non voter when in the Senate.. The non everything in his political career..

Can you cite one thing he did prior to being placed in office??

Thank you, Lady L-J. You often write with passion, yet generally use reason to guide your comments. It goes not unnoticed.

I have posted this before but well worth repeating..."if passion drives you....let reason hold the reins." [quote/BenjaminFranklin]

A slight correction, P-R: Barrack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009....eight and one-half months after attaining the presidency.

This is a notable quote attributed to Cicero...

“Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: 1) Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; 2) Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; 3) Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; 4) Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; 5) Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; 6) Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do."

Gosh dang it that is only something to some!!
And not worthy of recognition of accomplishment since he's still in hiding in the closet over it..

Consistent in things such as hiding his family, never having anything to do with them other than his brother( name escapes me) that is of a high ranking position Al Qaeda...
Now not having much to do with his immediate family other than photo ops, etc..

His narcissistism rules his being and he has not yet understood he is not wanted other than to drum up money for the DNC....

Agreed!! If we could lose those mistakes we would be ever so much more content in life..

I like these from him..

For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”

There are similarities between us and ancient Rome. Barakus Insanus Obamanus would fit right in with Caligula and Nero as destructive Emperors. Caligula was nicknamed little boots. Obamanus should be called big ears.

I don't know his entire history, but Nero apparently doesn't deserve all of the notoriety surrounding him, i.e.,....

The great fire of Rome broke out and destroyed much of the city in the year 64. Despite the well-known stories, there is no evidence that the Roman emperor, Nero, either started the fire or played the fiddle while it burned. Still, he did use the disaster to further his political agenda.

The fire began in the slums of a district south of the legendary Palatine Hill. The area’s homes burned very quickly and the fire spread north, fueled by high winds. During the chaos of the fire, there were reports of heavy looting. The fire ended up raging out of control for nearly three days. Three of Rome’s 14 districts were completely wiped out; only four were untouched by the tremendous conflagration. Hundreds of people died in the fire and many thousands were left homeless.

Although popular legend holds that Emperor Nero fiddled while the city burned, this account is wrong on several accounts. First, the fiddle did not even exist at the time. Instead, Nero was well known for his talent on the lyre; he often composed his own music. More importantly, Nero was actually 35 miles away in Antium when the fire broke out. In fact, he let his palace be used as a shelter.

Legend has long blamed Nero for a couple of reasons. Nero did not like the aesthetics of the city and used the devastation of the fire in order to change much of it and institute new building codes throughout the city. Nero also used the fire to clamp down on the growing influence of Christians in Rome. He arrested, tortured and executed hundreds of Christians on the pretext that they had something to do with the fire.

But, Caligula...now, that's a whole 'nother story of infamy.
