That is my point. How can we demand trustworthiness from others when we, ourselves, are not trustworthy??
We have a common enemy. Fighting that enemy honestly could be one step in the right direction, but we, the US leadership, are going to have to acknowledge that helping the Syrian Rebels is equivalent to helping ISIS. I agree with you and am glad rather than pulling executive privilege and not letting Comey testify, he didn't stand in the way of it as that would have cast doubt on Trump... He did not lie about Comey telling him three times he was not under investigation .. Comey also had to admit the leak to CNN and NYTimes was his leaks!!! He also came across as a scorned employee for being fired and that explains his testimony of feeling intimidated by Trump.. Yet how many times did he say no to anything Trump could have done but did not...

I can see him saying what he did as we fired him isn't that enough, without meaning asvanything more than that...
