It has something to do with "infringement" ! Check out your copy of the Constitution, particularly the 2nd Amendment !

PINO not Rino.
I voted for AuH2O. I did 3 years 11 month and 28 days in the US Navy and got out without a Captains mast and Good Conduct with Honorable also.

People that get picky about spelling and grammar instead of content piss me off. then you come right back with an error. Let Glaucon and his ilk talk about spelling and such as they have no content.

Responded to Chocura, & he claimed I was ignorant (go back to the earliest posts) why I don't know. When I asked what was "ignorant" got no reply. As far as RINO is concernd I was out getting signatures so Goldwater could be on the N. Y. ballot ! Was with 2 groups that helped getting the Hard Hat rallies in gear ! Honorably Discharged, National Service Ribbon !!! Have no idea what his or her problem is ???!!!

Glaucon is an ignoramus she. AND the skirt is ashamed of that.
She shouldn't; it is her own inadequacy she should be ashamed of.

You are a liar. There was not one mention of any death threats coming from NRA members. Not one. I did, however, find numerous death threats against NRA members. You are an idiot. You have no idea what you are talking about, nor do you have any idea of the actual physical workings and shortcomings of these "not-very-smart" guns.

Good point. My Granny kept a loaded shotgun behind her bedroom door until the day she died. I lived with her for 12 years. Never touched the gun (except to go hunting) until it became mine...an Iver/Johnson 20 gauge. It's about 100 years old now. It has a 36" barrels and hold a very tight pattern. Perfect for squirrel hunting, which is what I used it for...and so did my dad...and so did my Granny and Grandaddy.

People don't know what life and death mean anymore. They eat steak and chicken; they postulate and bullshit; they talk on cell phones and drive their cars with no thought of the awful reality of what it takes to sustain life.

Everyone who thinks the way the originator of this thread thinks should have to butcher, clean and cook their meals for a year or two, and grow their own vegetables. Urban people fall into the trap of becoming so insulated from the nuts and bolts of existence they become dangerous...for all of us.

I got some people downright outraged once when I was dressing a deer in my front yard. Screw them, I had a tree with a limb of perfect height to hang the deer while I butchered it. Can you believe some moron called the cops? They told me I was just fine. (One said I cut too low on the neck.)

Wonder if they would have felt the same way if they had ever hit a deer with their car?

They would be clueless, especially if the animal was only wounded.

My Dad hit a mule deer buck going about 50-60 0n US 395 near Reno at night. Rolled the car, turned it back onto the wheels and drove the wreck home. We dressed our deer in one of my Granddads sheds. Thanks for the memories.

I'm not far from Reno. My dad hit three deer in the time he's been here. Well, he hit two deer and one hit him. Bad luck! I had a very close call once when a whole herd was on the road at night. Slammed on the brakes and skidded through them. At the last second one jumped left and another right. Missed by inches. Whew!
