You'd love it now. Lantana beach has gone topless. There are movements to allow full nudity on several others.

As a matter of fact, I did live on the beach. Or rather, about 150 yards from it. The last year I was in Florida I was mostly working in the Bahamas, or on a boat out of Ft Pierce. There was also a stint on a yacht delivery crew. If the work was not so spotty, it would have been a dream job. Getting paid to do something I did for free every chance I got.

Perhaps we should all be writing the pageant people asking why the double standards and let them know there is plenty on in place of their ignorant show anyway...

Lord that show lost out years ago, what do people see in it anyway??

And it was all going so well. To prove how well our forced diversity was working 70% of the ten finalist were women of color. Gadzooks! A woman of color won! And then she had to destroy and betray everything done to advance the progressive agenda and show her common sense, as well as her beauty and intelligence, and deny revised sacred scripture which clearly defines health care as a "right." Next year were back to dumb blonds and the questions will be on world peace!

I can't recall more than a couple minutes of exposure to the pageant my entire life and I see no need to change that. But on the other hand, I watch nothing except football and I'm prepared to drop that to if provoked enough.

I agree. I watched only the politically correct selection of the ten finalists and then changed the channel in disgust.

You know God Himself is no respecter of person. Each and everyone of us will be judged by our love of the Father and adherence to His commandments, our character and works. What we have accumulated here on earth, or our name recognition or status in society means nothing. AS God says we were created for His pleasure, not our own self agrandizment. Thanks for you service

Hey Loki, was the delivery rag or gas? I delivered and raced ocean going rag boats for a few years and ran fishing charter trips for several years. I literally did live on the beach most of my life and the sights were beautiful. Mike

Sail and stinkpot, about half and half. There was this one Hatteras 54 that was one hell of a trip. Also an Endeavor 40 sloop that was a bitch kitty. It was only from Grand Bahama to Lake Worth, but we had to cross the Gulf Stream in a gale. A kick in the 'nads that lasted for eighteen hours.

I can understand that. Ouch! At one time sailed across the finish line in Nassau with a bullet proof spinnaker in full knock down. Had to close the hatch to keep from sinking. Lost two boats at the Great Bear Rocks. They tried to short cut. Mike

The Gulf Stream is a pain. It's like the Great Lakes, the waves are shorter and sharper. I'll take a 30 footer on the North Atlantic over a 24 footer in the Stream anytime. I have never sailed the Pacific.

I did the Pacific on a WW1 hermthodite caring about 800 tons of high explosives for our guy in Nam in 68. Hit a typhoon about 300 miles from Okinowia. We maintained about 6 knots forward and went 400 miles backwards in 7 days. Couldn't get out of the damn thing until it finally blew over us. That was the only time I've ever been seasick. It wasn't because I was walking on the walls but when we came out of the storm into almost glass like conditions. We recorded 65' seas.

As you know but most don't, the color of the different waters are fantastic.

The Gulf Stream is a Bitch as is the reef between Fl. and the Islands. Mike

Why not just wait a day? You know the saying, 'in South Florida, if you don't like the weather, just wait 5 minutes'. Just did it for the 'bragging rights', didn't you?
