Mr. B. have you looked into any programs that could help you ?? If not its time to...With this happening maybe there is help?? Do you have medicine and gotten it filled???

If I'm short on money, it's usually my fault. I need to remember to buy only what I need. Not everything I want. My meds are current, though my medicare lapsed for some reason. I need to get to the social security office and get it going again. At least I have the VA for back-up. Speaking of which, I need to make an appointment. Been a while since I had a physical.

A few weeks ago, I had a heart attack. My heart didn't stop. I had something called arrhythmia. It's when the heart is beating, but it's not synchronised and doesn't pump any blood. I don't remember passing out. The last thing I remember is asking someone to dial 911 because something just didn't feel right. So, when it's my time to go, I think that's the way I want to die. I won't feel a thing. I won't even know it happened until I enter those pearly gates. I always wondered if there was a painless way to die. Now I know.

My Dad hated water too. He always referred to what it does to a radiator. I too had a heart attack in 2004 at 54. Mine was a clogged artery which a stent corrected. I have to mind my P's & Q's as my father and his mother had hardening of the arteries. He had most of his major arteries replaced with plastic before his death from septic. He was a strong man but suffered many maladies from WWII and Korea. He enjoyed his life so all's good.

It's already written in the Lord's book what our fate is so stay right with GOD and worry not. Mike

I'm in good shape. They found no damage to my heart or any blockages. They think it was brought on by severe dehydration and low potassium levels, so I'm taking supplements and drinking plenty of water. God, I hate water.

Hey Mr. B, I'd like to throw some skin in this adventure. These people are serious, you need, you say so. Do it on the side, but heck guy, folks here will do it for any of us. I'll be in touch. Mike

That's a real comfort to hear. Hope I'll never need it, but it's really nice to know that someone cares.

And how many wives can you handle at one time? Lol. But isn't it good to know so many people sincerely care about you? Please add me to that long list.

You talked me into it. We may disagree on some things, but it doesn't mean we can't be friends. You're a good man Padre Brown.

I'm beginning to get the idea that a huge number of us here on the OPP are a bunch of olde pharts on the short side of our time clocks who get much of our exercise punching letters with a stylus and sending electrical charges to our grey matter.

I'm used to going without food. Not a big deal. What brought the whole thing on was a week long bout of chronic diarrhoea. I didn't know diarrhoea could kill you, short of dysentery. Also, something I didn't know, Immodium dehydrates you. That probably had something to do with it. I was taking it like candy because it wasn't working. Must have been caused by some virus or something.

If you were taking it like candy, it certainly wasn't a virus. I'd call it stupidity.
