Our Constitution is based in three philosophies:

1. God's law

2. The Revealed Laws of God and

3. Natural Law.

Get over it and read your history instead of trying to decide what the history is.

So you don't think our constitution was created to make laws that were fair to everyone? Then what is the purpose of our laws? If there is no fairness then women wouldn't vote nor would blacks be free--by what would you argue that either had rights for anything? And a Christian prayer before a government function means what--that we weren't founded under a premise of equality or as a secular nation? We've also had Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim and NO prayers before government functions--what meaning do you take from that if not that we are secular? As for the constitution it doesn't say that a men and woman have a right to marry. So if it doesn't prevent men and women from marrying how could it prevent homosexuals from doing the same?

Also, what you forget is that the argument was once made that the bible made women subservient to men and called for the blackman to be slaves so if the bible can be shown to be irrelevant in regards to women and slavery why can't it be irrelevant with regards to homosexuality? As I said, we are a secular country--whatever is said in a religious text is irrelevant to our constitutional laws....

Oh I've given a good read to history and while you are correct about natural law--that and English Common law--in what text does it say the constitution is bases on Gods law and Reveled law too? Please cite your sources as I would love to give them a read...

If you are for the working class then why do you support laws that are harmful to them? The first thing that Trump did was to repeal a clean water law that allowed coal companies to start dumping coal ash into our water ways. Coal ash contains Mercury, arsenic, and lead just to name a few. How does water that contains those byproducts help the working class? And wasn't it you republicans who were responsible for Flint? You guys really don't like clean water do you? How did poisoning everyone help the working class? Do you think Jesus would be in favor of water and air that poisoned those who used them? You guys are also against minimum wage laws and unions so tell me how are low wages and no benefits good for the working class? Do you think Jesus is in favor of people being impoverished? And I could mention healthcare but we already know how you feel about that don't we.

Jesus does stand for the working class but the one thing you don't is stand for the same--and we know that simply because of your record which you've repeated over and over again!!!

No. Clearly not. Our original Constitution and BoR allowed Democrats to own slaves and segregate schools, which was overtly unfair.

The original Constitution and BoR gave lawmaking power to Congress with limitations. Fairness is not mentioned. Fairness was implied in later Amendments.
