Let's talk about this, with out party bashing, just the issue please.
This new bill from Trump:
This order bans executive branch appointees from lobbying their former agency for five years, lobbying any agency while President Trump is in office and ever lobbying on behalf of a foreign government. It works by requiring appointees to sign a pledge which the attorney general can enforce with civil, not criminal, action. The order seems to remove an Obama administration requirement that lobbyists cannot move into a government job and work on the same issue they’d pursued as lobbyists for two years.
Call me crazy but I think lobbying has simply become a corrupt money making scheme which derails our true governing system and only benefits the corporations who are paying the lobbyists and in the long run are not for our benefit.
There's a cycle here of paid politician's, after thy are not in the government as say a representative, they work as lobbyist, than they are able to get back into the government with another job. Obama tried to discontinue this self interest, but it has now been undone. So I ask who does this benefit, is this draining the swamp?

When did Obama try to rein this in? Why didn't he just write an EO? Like Trump did? Huh?

Can you try and stick to the topic, Obama did...Trump has now changed it. That's what we're talking about now.

Like I said....when? And, how? If Obama did what you say, Trump wouldn't have had to do anything. I am sticking to topic, moron.

No you're not, you're talking about Obama and the past, I'm talking about the changes that have been made presently. How do you feel about the changes Trump has made in his bill concerning lobbyists?
Damn you people are stupid!
Trump, Pence rake in millions from Washington lobbyists!
Trump and Pence have attracted dozens of new lobbyists to Washington, raking in $2.2 million in the first two months of the administration!

What do you think about the price of tea in China?
You are the poster boy/girl for stupidity!
That really isn't helping the conversation Ryan, I posted this to show the intention, and to see mostly what Trump voters think of it. A link doesn't do much by itself.

Here's an example of the smoke and mirror show this really is: Rex Tillerson leaves office and can't lobby the State Department for 5 years - but Rex never lobbied himself anyway, he has a lobbying firm do it, so he'll never be in violation anyway. Obama tried to end the revolving door between Wall Street and the Treasury, and the banking regulatory agencies, which traded employees regularly - this removes the door entirely.
