Actually, I'm for an Amendment that puts-up a Federal Sales Tax of 15% on all individual retail items over $25.00 (primary house and property exempt), and an elimination of the Federal Income Tax... The Amendment should also require no further increase in the Federal Debt Ceiling as of the Date of Ratification...

I think I like that idea. The federal sales tax would be easier to maintain, both in the government and the taxpayers. It could also avoid so many loop holes, and fraudulent claims at the IRS by various groups of people. US lost tens of billions of dollars annually due to tax fraud committed by illegal aliens. The IRS EITC is ridiculous that provides several thousands of dollars to people with children, especially illegal aliens who have so many kids. For household with 3 or more children gets maximum of $6,044 every year, even when they don't pay income tax due to income threshold.
The low income households could still be given assistance to maintain their household. I think it could provide better control, avoid many fraudulent activities through false claims, etc.
