I quit reading the paper years ago..Filled with nothing but negative everything I asked myself why I was paying more to depress me..Plus I was ticked at a commentary, numerous, actually from this one guy, name forgoten, and after I read it I called cancelling mine...They likely didn't care but I sure felt good in doing it...

My Dad on the other hand had two delivered every Sunday and would sit for hours drinking his coffee, reading them....

My brother did a paper route and I'd help him fold the papers but dang that ink getting my hands black before done~~

'Now Islamic prayers have been introduced in Toronto and other public schools in Ontario, and, yes, in Ottawa, too, while the Lord's Prayer was removed (due to being so offensive?). The Islamic way may be peaceful for the time being in our country until the fanatics move in.'

'In Australia, and indeed in many countries around the world, many of the most commonly consumed food items have the halal emblem on them. Just look at the back of some of the most popular chocolate bars, and at other food items in your local supermarket. Food on aircraft have the halal emblem just to appease the privileged minority who are now rapidly expanding within the nation's shores.'

'In the U.K, the Muslim communities refuse to integrate and there are now dozens of "no-go" zones within major cities across the country that the police force dare not intrude upon. Sharia law prevails there, because the Muslim community in those areas refuse to acknowledge British law.'

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand.

We've been silent since the 50s when Johnson wrangled a deal to silence the churches. Now we're trying to play catch-up. Passive for way too long just like the folks in your post. The good thing is that there is no where near the economic desperation here that the Germans were dealing with in the years following WWI, nor have we just lost a world war and been subjected to the humiliation of defeat and reparations. I don't think the fruit loops can pull off here what the brown shirts did in Germany. I think many people are waking up here.

The business entities have Americans fighting over crumbs as they do whatever they want themselves..and some of us are stupid enough to defend them....when businesses don't give a damn about nothing but executive compensation and investor returns...I taught an HR course in Public Admin that showed how the ratio of executive to worker compensation went from 46:1 to 454:1 between the 60's and 2000's...........

what should be done is that poor people need to stop being pro-business and force people like scott walker to not fk them over..........and demand more from businesses starting as consumers.....so when people like ao laughs at me about an older car that looks and runs new....he doesn't understand I'm not a mindless consumer slave and when I buy something like that..I hold onto it and change my financial situation before I buy something else...if Americans were not convinced they had to have new trinkets to feel like they are somebody...they could make companies work for them....as an employee or a consumer.....

Hmmm...airlines come to mind. They've been shrinking seats until its damned uncomfortable for me to fly. I'm mostly legs which means I have sit sideways, legs jammed in the seat in front of me, then there's the whole beating people up and tossing them off a flight they paid for and already seated in! Someone should go to jail for that.



I'm with you. My dream truck is a 69 F-100 fleetside shortbed (I'm finding they aren't common ) with a straight 6 300. Most bulletproof vehicle I once owned that I wish I still had. What I'm driving now is an 11 year old Chrysler LHS...I hate it! But it gets way better gas mileage than the 78 4WD!

I'll get that truck one day. Watch! A friend of mine found a short wheel base F-100 chassis. Now, if I could just find a fleetside body.......sorry!
