And you choose to remain ignorant, auntie. You just keep on listening to false teachers in your ignorance, calling God a liar. Have YOU read your bible lately and learned to rightly divide the word of truth or do you choose to follow the world instead of believing God? Many are called but few are chosen.

This is a time to rejoice in our Savior any way we chose to do so.. Just because you disagree it does not make it wrong.. Rather than ruin the celebration of this magnificent time may I suggest you say a prayer of forgiveness for your obstinent position then come back and join in remembering the purpose of this day~~

He has Risen and new life begins...
Highest and Holiest holiday it is..
Filled with the love of Our Lord
Rejoice in His being...

You have no right calling anyone a liar simply based on what you think !!

Perhaps it would be better to repent your life to God and try walking in his will rather than judging everyone else~

He who is without sin cast the first stone...

In love you are released ... Have a Happy Easter...

Do you support Easter with eggs hidden in the yard and or among the rocks? The 'fallen one'- Satan has cunningly devised a lie and has hidden that truth from people who don't study the Bible, being unaware of Gods agenda. A friend of the world is an enemy of God. The worst part about it is that children are encouraged to go and look for those eggs that the rabbit left behind, a tradition of man or woman. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men.
The Queen of heaven is 'eastre' or 'Astarte' is a heathen term and is a Teutonic goddess of fertility in the spring that goes back to the groves in the Bible, 2 Kings. Rolling 'eggs' and quick as a bunny are the trademark of easter and a false doctrine. When you participate and lead children you get demerits from God, and it the same as knowingly buying stolen property as if you stole it yourself. Jesus said "I have foretold you all things", and paid an awesome price on the roman cross. Align your self with God and have a Happy Passover.

I didn't know rabbits layed eggs.
Hmmmmm (:
Pagan fertility celebration? Hmmmm

I initially thought I'd try and explain that everyone knows rabbits don't lay eggs. I really wanted to acknowledge the lack of references to rabbits and eggs in the Holy Bible. I was going to point point out that the majority of Christians know of the pagan rituals Easter replaces. Basically, I was going to reply in kind. But after I hit the 'Quote/reply' button, it occurred to me that no matter what I do to try and keep a semblance of decorum and dignity on this day, someone was going to show up and shit all over it. So instead of going full retard and getting all indignant over this, I decided to just take the high road and say thanks for pointing all this out, Mr. Obvious. I'm sure there are many good, devout Christians whose lives have been positively enhanced by your pathetic attempt at poking fun at a solemn occasion.

I think I can speak for many of my compatriots when I say please, come in, sit down, join us. Your state of ignorance is acknowledged and understood. We will be pleased to provide you with the educational materials necessary to help you with that. Start at page 1, where it's headed 'Genesis'. "In the beginning, there was the Word", etc... I know it can be tedious, but it will be very helpful if you read it from front to back, all 807,361 words. Once you have read it for a while, I think you will agree it is truly a remarkable book, regardless of your religious beliefs.

I see from your member history that you have posted 5644 messages / replies and created 1 topic in 2.5 years. That suggests to me that you like to sit back and wait for others to post topics and then post a reply that totally disrupts the flow. Just like a sniper, sitting in the tree line waiting for an opportunity to strike. Well, congratulations, you just shot up the local church group on their way to give thanks on a very significant day. Now don't forget, follow up with a good, clean head shot to confirm the kill.

By the way, Easter is spelled with a capital 'E', and 'laid' has no 'y' or 'e' in it, but it does have an 'i'. This isn't rocket science. The Edit/Reply box has a built-in spellchecker. If you type a word and a red line appears underneath it, there's something wrong with it. Once you have cleared out the spelling issues, then hit 'Send'.

Danged if this well intended thread didn't go sideways real fast! Oh well!
I'm going to rejoice in the blessings that have been bestowed upon me, and enjoy a beautiful day! I'm also going to eat the damn rabbit, and some hard boiled eggs! I may even have a beer or two in order to enhance the "Dutch oven" effect for my wonderful wife later.
Happy Easter everybody! No rain clouds on my parade!!

I would, politely, ask that you be gone from my thread.

You are an angry lecturing scold, which is not needed here.

There are always people who feel they must interject themselves, and their 'great' knowledge, in matters.

May you and Mrs. B have a beautiful day.

Thank you, AuntiE.

A very happy Easter to you and yours. There isn't enough time in the world to count all my blessings (to include you) and even less time to thank the good Lord for all of them.

He has risen, and He will come again. Amen 🙏

We are coming up on four years together.

As Handel said:

For the lord God omnipotent reigneth
(Hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah)
Hallelujah
The kingdom of this world;
is become
the kingdom of our Lord,
and of His Christ
and of His Christ

And He shall reign for ever and ever
And he shall reign forever and ever
And he shall reign forever and ever
And he shall reign forever and ever

King of kings forever and ever hallelujah hallelujah
and lord of lords forever and ever hallelujah hallelujah
King of kings forever and ever hallelujah hallelujah
and lord of lords forever and ever hallelujah hallelujah
King of kings forever and ever hallelujah hallelujah
and lord of lords

King of kings and lord of lords
And he shall reign
And he shall reign
And he shall reign
He shall reign
And he shall reign forever and ever

Handel George Frideric - 44. Chorus: Hallelujah!

One of my blessings, this day, was a card from gremlins.😊

As Handel said: br br For the lord God omnipotent... (show quote)

God sent his son, they called him Jesus,
He came to love, heal and forgive.
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my savior lives.

Because he lives
I can face tomorrow
Because he lives
All fear is gone
Because i know he holds the future
And life is worth the living
Just because he lives

How sweet to hold a newborn baby,
And feel the pride and joy he gives,
But greater still the calm assurance:
This child can face uncertain day because he lives.

Because he lives
I can face tomorrow
Because he lives
All fear is gone
Because i know he holds the future
And life is worth the living
Just because he lives

And then one day I'll cross the river,
I'll fight life's final war with pain.
And then, as death gives way to vict'ry,
I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know he reigns.

Because he lives
I can face tomorrow
Because he lives
All fear is gone
Because i know he holds the future
And life is worth the living
Just because he lives
