For many on this post, Happy Easter is a gesture from one Christian to another "I wish you well Brother/Sister on this day we (collectively) honor passover (in remembrance of our Lord Jesus) and together stand in amazement of our mighty God that indeed did. Rise from the dead, and know we too (because of him) will rise from death.
On this amazing day of remembrance and celebration, I would pray that one's having harsh words, bitter hearts would do likewise as AuntiE and focus on sharing love to fellow Christians while focusing on the saving grace, Power and might of our Lord Jesus.

I for at least one do not celebrate eshtar,a pagan festival of fertility, celebrating new life as the Catholic church has come to celebrate.. I choose to celebrate First Fruits as my Saviour is the first resurrected body. This day to me is Resurrection day not eshtar day.

Amen! My Grandkids know the reason of the religious seasons and can and will quote them to me but will bug me about going to look for eggs.
Most of our religious holidays have history's in Pagan traditions. To taking a mans written tome too seriously is not healthy. Take from it what works for you and leave out what does not for others. That said, they may think exactly like you but at the same time realize that we have to deal with life here on earth now and can deal with life in the here after when we get there. Ya'll need to relax a little. Live your live as best you can, pray for those who can't and as Jesus said, don't judge cause it could be you. Mike.
