This is incrementalism.

I have not been on this site in quite some time.
this issue regarding H.U.D.
personally affects me and my family as we were selected to be part of this study.
we live on a quiet road Farm to Market Road actually surrounded by horse farms near historic district.
our home is moderate in size about 2100 square feet on an acre of land.
our home being in the middle of a larger horse farm is a separate parcel of land taxed individually yet owned by the business owners of the horse farm.
my husband is employed by that horse farm.way for all intents and purposes rent our dwelling.
this study is being conducted by the United States Census Bureau.I mention this because I returned home one day to find a note stuck to the door.business card attached to it and it informed me that I had failed to complete a study.I had never received a study or questionnaire.I looked into what possible study or questionnaire I might have received had I in fact received it.it became clear that it was the HUD study.
it also became clear while investigating that you can be punished or find or imprisoned for failing to provide or participate with United States Census Bureau.
we had 10 days to respond.that was a Thursday with every intention of making it last the full 10 days and begrudging having to participate against my wishes to be included into a study. We as a family had decided that we would not respond until the full 10 days. However Saturday just after noon a man arrived and got out of his car and let us know that he was with the United States Census Bureau. he had many questions and a computer the questions were on race well. I had been answering most of the questions about the size of the house ,the number of bedrooms ,whether or not the kitchen has separate dining how many bathrooms, were they full bathrooms were there additional living area is the square footage of the house the approximate size of the lot.whether or not we had hot and cold running water which appliances were in the house and in fact operational to include a refrigerator washer dryer stove hot water heater. what type of electricity we were receiving with house entirely on electric what type of heating how, many fireplaces, whether or not we were on city sewer or septic system for sewage.eventually the question came around to how many people we had in our home the ages of the people that we had in our home the race of the people that we have in our home. and on the question of race, the gentleman taking the survey looked to my husband and stated white. he then glanced at me and sort of nodded his head or tilted his head as if to inquire? I simply shrugged and he recorded the answer as white. additional questions that were asked during the survey or whether or not the occupants of the home at any time experience discomfort or became cold during winter.whether or not we believe that our neighborhood was a good neighborhood or if it had any crime.we were asked to give our neighborhood a rating 1 to 10 10 being the best and are dwelling rating.finally the gentleman from the Census Bureau asked about geographical features in our area how close we were to any standing body of water. he briefly asked about any wildlife that may be in our area.he asked about the employment of my husband and even remarks that he hesitated to ask me about whether or not I was employed.
I would like it noted that while this man was quite jovial , kind , , and generally just pleasant. I felt nauseous, ill and a general feeling of things were just not right. this is not right.weekend declined to answer questions regarding other children who are not living in the home and our wages to which are interviewer from the Census Bureau let us know that you could just find that out easy about anybody you could just google anybody. before he left he said that our names and our address were not going to be discussed but that our names and all of our personal information would be somehow correlated to a number but that it wouldn't be available to people using or reviewing the data. He also stated that our home would be representative of 1200 homes.
Now you should be aware that I am part native American or mixed race.
Of the nine homes on this 1.5 mile stretch of rd. There are 3 Hispanic families in 3 of those homes. Metre blocks from there we have an African American male household I have yet to meet his wife so I am uncertain of her race.
It has been weeks since this participation in the HUD study and I still feel as though it was invasive, and un american.
I immediately told my husband that it was reminiscent of DR.Zhivago. and quickly explained the movie plot and politics of smuggling the book out to Italy. He had never seen it. Coincidentally the producer of that movie has passed in the last few days.
I then shared that quite possibly we may have to quarter in our lifetimes.
Yes it does have to do with Race.

Our Congress can invite anyone they please to speak, they don't have to get Obama's or anyone else's permission to do that. What's pissed our Asshole in Chief off so bad is that he simply doesn't want Netanyahu telling our Congress and therefor the American people what's really going on in the Middle East and especially Iran. He wants Netanyahu to stay the hell home and shut the hell up, so now he's issued a threat to the man that "There will be a price to pay for this".

Can you believe that this man is actually our President and threatens our closest ally on the planet?

Personally, I think Iran having
Nuclear weapons is about Obama rewarding his friends. The way the Clinton's rewarded N Korea.
The whole process of lifting the sanctions and delay upon delay. Now after failed talks yes failed to meet 6 month time line .
Now 18 month's later we are no closer to a deal.
Worse Iran has declared they will destroy Israel.
It's time to reinstate sanctions.
It is not time to import students from Iran and pay for them to be educated our universities, but that is happening.
Obama has abandoned our interests and the interests of our Ally's.
He is an ideologue meaning the c*******t Shia sharia law ideologies are who and what his thoughts and actions support.
Congress needs to do their job. They need to hear both sides and legislate for the people this country based on information gathered by hearing both sides.
To be clear, we have been listening and taking to Iran for 18 month's.
We need to hear Israel.
We especially need to hear Israel when our President continues to shun Israel's representative .

Yes, and it is an effective contradictorial controllers defense, when you have left the realm of theme of the subject ,you can hover over the spelling punctuation or inconsequential quibbling for the quibblers sake .

Really , as theme must not be considered. substance must be destroyed with out discussing the actual study. No need to do the math, I am completely uninterested in this study it does not serve purpose for my purpose . As I simply can not control the narrative, I must change the argument by first being contradictory, then diversionary. Such as ......well that depends what is is.

This study and any evidence that supports even the possibility of God as represented in the bible is a threat,( To the unbeliever ) some unbelievers are threatened by the possibility of a whole book of rules.
Those who are threatened , some, reject it.
These are not men who seek to become wise.
These are men who believe themselves wise.
Clever, tricky, yes but unwise.
Not all are unkind or cruel , however you will find those who change the parameters or sequence of things. They who truly believe they have conquered with what they know is proven false. How by false premise, they set about to divert, and dissuade by endless discussion over trivialities rather than substance or thought. They are having their own argument so to speak it is not with you it is with God that the fibers of their beings strain.
These are the d*****t's. They only have the c***ter, liars victory, yet they are satisfied.

Thank you again for posting this thought provoking study.
I, join others in prayer and praise that the thoughtful will give it consideration and be encouraged to persue knowledge.

I have all kinds of respect for the office of our president. But none
what so ever for Obama. I am mad as hell. And I will stay that way until this
criminal is gone from this office.

It is clear to me and most, Obama is an inept, bumbling fool. The big problem is he just might get us all k**led.
He is also a t*****r to this country and the office in which he serves.

The damage he has caused our beloved United States will take a decade or more to repair. And still the full Congress will not act on behalf of the nation at large.

I would have thought by now, the Senate and the full House would have called for his resignation.
That should be the very first thing on the agenda. Not going to happen. We can only hope. But right at this point in time I don’t see the want to get this fool out of the office.
It does appear the legislators would rather deal with a known quantity than show some backbone.

This is Canada's Top Ten List of America's Stupidity

(Of course we look like i***ts ....because we are.)

Number10)

Only in America ...could politicians talk about the

greed of the rich at a $35,000.00 per plate campaign fund-raising

Number9)

Only in America ...could people claim that the

government still discriminates against b***k A******ns when they
have a black President, a black Attorney General and roughly 20%
of the federal workforce is black while only 14% of the
population is black. 40+% of all federal entitlements goes to
b***k A******ns - 3X the rate that go to w****s, 5X the rate that
go to Hispanics!

Number8)

Only in America ...could they have had the two people

most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner (the head of
the Treasury Department) and Charles Rangel (who once ran the
Ways and Means Committee). BOTH turn out to be tax c***ts who are
in favor of higher taxes.

Number 7)

Onlyin America ...can they have terrorists k**l

people in the name of Allah and have the media primarily react by
fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash.

Number6)

Only in America...would they make people who want to

legally become American citizens wait for years in their home
countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege,
while they discuss letting anyone who sneaks into the country
illegally just 'magically' become American citizens (probably
should be number one).

Number5)

Only in America ....could the people who believe in

balancing the budget and sticking by the country's Constitution
be thought of as "extremist".

Number4)

Only in America ...could you need to present a

driver's license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to v**e.

Number3)

Only in America ...could people demand the government

investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because
the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a
major U.S. Oil company ( Marathon Oil) is less than half of a
company making tennis shoes (Nike).

Number 2)

Only in America does the IRS collect more tax dollars

from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend
a trillion dollars more than it has per year - for total spending
of $7-Million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn't have
nearly enough money.

And Number 1)

Only in America...could the rich people- who pay

86% of all income taxes - be accused of not paying their "fair
share" by people who don't pay any income taxes at all.

“I believe in a smarter kind of American leadership,” President Barack Obama said at one point during last night’s 2015 State of the Union address. However, according to the most-widely used measure of readability, last night’s speech was only written at a ninth-grade reading level.

The Flesch-Kincaid readability scale tests how easy it is to read a passage by weighing the total words-per-sentence and syllable-per-words. A Daily Caller analysis found the State of the Union scored a 9.4 on the grade level scale, indicating that it is easily understood by 13- to 15-year-old students.

Obama is only the latest in a long trend of dumbed-down addresses. The sophistication of the State of the Union has been on a steady decades-long decline as more and more Americans tune in. John F. Kennedy regularly gave State of the Union addresses at an undergraduate level, while Obama’s first-term average was the lowest of the televised era.

But 2015′s rating actually represents a step forward for Obama, whose first-term Flesch-Kincaid average was at the eighth-grade level. President George W. Bush on average gave the highest ranked speeches of the past five presidents, while his father George H. W. Bush set the record in 1990 for giving the only State of the Union address ranked on a seventh-grade reading level.

One-worlders at it again with their annual 'pilgrimage' to Davos....all the usual suspects should be there....and checkout the hypocritical obscene 'carbon footprint' for these shysters to travel to Davos.....

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2014/01/20/world-economic-forum-davos-2014-preview/4353053/
Global elite descend on Davos to 'reshape world'
Kim Hjelmgaard, USA TODAY 11:08 p.m. EST January 20, 2014
The ski resort of Davos attracts the global political and business elite each year for the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.
ZURICH Once a year Switzerland becomes much more than the sum of its chocolate, watches and banking sector.
For several days at the end of January, presidents, prime ministers, monarchs and corporate titans jostle with actors, rock stars and major influencers for top billing at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. The confab takes place in the Alpine village of Davos, about 90 miles southeast of Zurich, and for a brief spell each year the pristine ski resort half-sheds its Graubünden roots and becomes a ground zero for the political and business elite.
"It's a fascinating event that occurs on any number of levels," says Boston-based Nariman Behravesh, a Davos veteran and chief global economist at IHS, a consultancy.
"The top-level political leadership give their speeches, but usually they don't tell you anything you don't already know. In the open forums there are a lot of talking heads, and you kind of know what they are going to say. However, the private meetings, often in the hallways and mostly off the record, are much more interesting, with lots of good discussion. There's also the partying. You have to be careful not to overdo it," he says.
This year's speech- and workshop-packed jamboree is taking place from Jan. 22-25.
Ostensibly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Yahoo Chief Executive Officer Marissa Mayer, actors Matt Damon and Goldie Hawn, and any number of the approximately 2,500 heads of state, entrepreneurs, CEOs, young global leaders and assorted cultural and social visionaries making the pilgrimage to Davos will talk about one thing: "The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business" WEF founder Klaus Schwab's characteristically abstruse theme for 2014. This follows on the heel's of 2013's "Resilient Dynamism" and "The Great T***sformation: Shaping New Models," the year before that. The WEF's ambitions for the gathering operating motto: "Committed to improving the state of the world" are nothing if not lofty.
"There's room for skepticism over what people will walk away with and then achieve but that doesn't mean they shouldn't try, " says IHS' Behravesh. "How the goals t***slate into actions is a different story. The WEF can't do a lot in terms of pressuring corporations or governments. So the worry is that these things tend to dissipate soon after the forum ends," he says, adding, "The goals are great. The themes are great. It's the follow-through that hasn't really been there."
For many, an expedition to Davos and it is for most without access to helicopter service a complicated journey up the mountain involving multiple planes, trains and automobiles is all about joining the high-powered and the pioneering to talk shop about the world's ills while trudging through the snow and ice in a good pair of boots and a warm jacket. The hope is that relevant action plans for change will stick around even after the last cheese fondue meal is consumed.
But in its heart of hearts this annual exclusive accumulation of sages, captains of industry and wealthy do-gooders is really about networking. "(It's about) chasing successful people who want to be seen with other successful people," the Lebanese-American writer and academic Nassim Taleb told Bloomberg Television a few years back. "That's the game," he said.
It's also a gamble, at least in the sense that the price of entry is extraordinarily high. The basic cost of a ticket to Davos is 27,000 Swiss francs, or about $30,000. However, in order to have the privilege of even paying that immodest fee the WEF requires membership of the organization. This will set you back another $55,000 or so. Of course that's assuming you travel light sans helicopter and $100,000 chalet, for example and alone. When the Yahoos and Googles of this world show up to big international pow-wows they don't often do it on their ownsome.
While no one believes four days in and around the slopes is enough time to fix everything, there should be plenty to talk about this year. Ahead of this week's Davos kickoff the WEF released its "Global Risks 2014" report detailing what it sees as the gravest threats facing our planet over the next 11 months or so. Many of our economies remain in danger. In some countries exceptionally high unemployment is sapping the prospects of our youth. Income polarization is increasing. Already-scarce water resources are becoming scarcer. C*****e c****e remains unresolved. State collapse and internal conflict and violence are proving stubbornly resilient.
"From conflict in the Middle East, the U.S. Federal Reserve's tapering program, and tension in the South China Sea, to the 75 million unemployed young people around the world, we face a situation where the number of potential flashpoints are many and are likely to grow," WEF boss Schwab wrote in these pages recently. Speaking in a pre-meeting press conference last week, the German economist said it was time to "push the reset button" on the world.
Still, there are moments of levity, in retrospect at least, that emerge from the event in the form of predictions gone awry.
"We know where we're heading ... this is a t***sitional period, but we have a clear political path," the then and now ousted Egyptian prime minister Hesham Kandil told CNBC during last year's meeting.
"Those Google guys," Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said of Larry Page and Sergey Brin during 2003's annual meeting. "They want to be billionaires and rock stars and go to conferences, and all that. Let us see if they still want to run the business in two to three years."
