You sound frustrated,,,, I began this forum trying to be fair,, like you are now,,, after insults to even my dog,, and threats to my family etc,,,, I gave up,,,, and realized that the left has a preconceived notion of their superiority,, that tends to make them arrogant and condescending,,, case in point when the latest post starts our with "Conservatives h**e, gays, poor, healthcare, clean air and water,," and then proceeds to ask a question on the basis of that premise..

Then the poster gets indignant, and claims she cant get a "decent/civil discussion" from people with closed minds..!!??!!

When you start out calling people stupid, they react, and resent it. The rest of the planet is tired of the abuse the left dishes out, disguised as their superior intellect..and civility.

Like I said to alicia, I can no longer feel sorry, or even remotely concerned how the left perceives the swinging of the pendulum,,,, they asked for it.

Take Jim Jones for instance his followers were walking right in step with him till he ordered them to drink poison then they started thinking on their own and balked , sadly they were murdered !

Children of parents who believe in Faith Healing will sit by the bed of a sick or injured child praying for their health until the child dies, refusing medical treatment that would have stopped the suffering or prevented the death. There are LAWS that prevent anyone from coming in and helping their child, since it is an expression of a religious conviction.

Jehovah's Witnesses refuse blood products due to religious convictions and refuse them on behalf of their children as well.

Children of parents of Sign's Following Churches watch their parents handle poisonous serpents and drink strychnine. The kids are kept back away from the area in the tiny churches where this is practiced but they watch as uncles, aunts, patents, etc., express their religious convictions. And they have seen people suffer for days and die in the home for refusing medical attention. Then go to services and watch others (like their Daddy?) handle the same serpent...

I think a better way to ask the question for this forum might be: "Why doesn't everyone want a******ns to be unnecessary?" I think most people want it to be unnecessary. It seems most reasonable people feel uneasy about unconstrained use of a******n, but to make it totally illegal for everyone would be disastrous for a few kinds of cases.
