Republican circles are always convinced about one thing or another. A Republican circle is a group of Republican who are "blowing smoke up each others bung holes" it doesn't even take away the pain of hemroids, just makes their lips brown. As you learn English go to the county public health department where you live and tell them how the government is hurting you, they can help you free of charge. The record for IBM worker screw-jobs is discharging workers who have less than 30 days before retirement eligability. Look at all the pension money management saves, this money increases management bonases. IBM paid lower wages for years but had a "full employment practice" (not policy) and "lifetime" medical coverage (lifetime was never defined). They began to recant the medical about 1991. Today even IBM workers in India are complaining (IBM US workers are afraid to speak) and the top IBM execitives have the best pay and benefits available.
I worked for a non-union company for 27.5 years. The company was "Federal Systems Company" in Owego,NY which was one of IBM's companies. For most of those years our benefits and pay was good but not the industries best. Then IBM got a new CEO, Lou Gerstner. On, 1 Jan. 1994, IBM sold "FSD" to LORAL secretly and announced that news on April 15, 1994 (tax day, sad joke) when they let about 10% of the people go, with a pittance in their pockets. Early retirement equaled 25 years service and 55 years age. Some persons missed that goal by less than 30 days. Then they began to "pick-off" senior, higher paid people. My "Waterloo" came on Friday 4 Dec. 1994. I lost about 40% in retirement compared to my employment plan, but I was one of the lucky ones. We never had or wanted a "union" at IBM, WE WERE FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
