We can take this back to the passing of the Federal Reserve act that a weak congress passed in 1913, when many of them were not even present, they were heading home for their christmas holiday break. What a nice christmas present they gave to 12 foreign controlled banks, they gained control of our country via our money. That was the final nail in the coffin for the "free market" system that made us a truly free society.
Maybe it's time that they fed their cash cow for a change and forgave our paper debt of over $10 trillion that they invented by their manipulating of the value of the dollar to manipulate many foreign markets and currencies. All done for the sake of profits made by international capital investment groups that are not citizens of the USA. Most of them keep their money in tax shelter banks that were made in small island nations just for that purpose. The rest is history.

If this "do-nothing" congress would do their job the president wouldn't have to take this action. The republicans in congress can't make a real budget that works for all of America so they sure as hell can't do something that might make our borders more secure, they profit off the i******s that work for more republican business owners than any other party. They profit off the illegal drug trade too, they sell guns across the border. I have seen a bit of that. I am an Independent and wish that Senator Sanders would run for the white house, he would be a level headed man to do the right thing for America. Well buddy I am most current on this issue, I have been doing those things that you mentioned almost on a daily basis. I have signed about 20 or more petitions in the last 3 days that address many of our problems. I have even started a few as well. I just do it without all the childish name calling and excessive language.
The i***t in the white house has been our problem for decades and is not limited to just the current resident who is problematic. It seems that the last good president we had was JFK who did all he could to avoid a very
unnecessary war with Russia and was keeping us out of Vietnam a big problem started by the French and their desire for the raw materials and other resources they wanted from that region, that the British saw there as well when they were there before and during WW2.
Violations of our Constitution were done before Obama was ever elected with the passing of the so-called "Patriot act" that gutted our rights even more than it was done before. It allows for them to spy on us and to do warrantless searches and wiretaps. Bush did an executive order that would allow him to have anyone who disagreed with his policies arrested and held in secret for an unlimited amount of time without a fair hearing or a lawyer being allowed in for your defense. Where were all your calls for impeachment for Bush? Did you protest about him taking us into another police action (WAR) or for congress not declaring war. Because all of his excuses for said war was lies and hearsay evidence. Iraq did not have anything to do with 9-11-01 nor was it attacking the US. Bush murdered every one of our troops who died there and is guilty of it in cold blood. He is also guilty of murdering millions of Iraqi citizens because of his lies. Where is your loud calls for action against this monster and all the crimes against humanity he has done in our name.
Did you demand that your congressional representatives write or support legislation that would greatly increase our diplomatic efforts all over the world by increasing spending for that effort instead of spending more on

Did you petition your local school board to make sure that the Constitution and how the government does really function at all levels to be made a mandatory class/subject in all grade levels? Ok. I see someone thinks they are an expert on the Constitution, great why not demand that it be taught in all our schools at all levels.
We the People have all the power, not the government, we do give the government some of it to do stuff for us, like ensure our safety, security, freedom, liberty, and last but not least welfare. What does all that entail? Safety, what does that mean? Safe from what? Having a safe environment to live freely in is a good thing for us all. That's a good start. Safe roads for our free travel is a good thing too. A safe work place is also nice to have. Like safe food that is good to eat, and clean water to drink and clean air to breath they are good things too. That is just the tip of the iceberg of safety. Now let's move along to security. What does that mean to you? We all have our own opinion of what it means for the most part. Keeping our nation secure from outside invasion is a good thing. Why is it that most of our DOD forces are stationed thousands of miles away from our borders or shores? That does not prevent foreigners from crossing the borders illegally. Our border patrol isn't able to do it either, our we wouldn't have the problems with i******s in this country. So let's bring all our troops home and station them on our actual physical borders and actually defend our nation, not the international corporations interests or those of a few foreign states that have gained access to our government and try to manipulate it for their own purposes. It seems that now our government is more concerned about it's own "security" than it is about that of the people they are supposed to be representing, has been that way since 1946 and the establishment of the CIA by the corporations of what is called the "military industrial complex".
Now for our "freedoms, liberty or rights". With each of those comes an equal "responsibility" we each must bear. Your rights do not trump mine or those of others and visa-versa. You have religious freedoms that are equal to mine, and the state shall not have any rights nor can the state support religion. That means you or I cannot demand the state to make the beliefs or teachings of any religion the law of the land. That would be no better than sharia law that we see in other countries. Just because you think that your religion/belief is the only right one does not make it so. The Constitution allows for the people to choose wh**ever religion they want and for the state not have any at all. Just because other people may choose to live a different way that is contrary to your beliefs/religion is not a good enough reason to make their choices against the law. Thomas Paine would be up in arms again today if he were to see how this nation that he gave his all for is acting today.
Now for "welfare". To look out for the welfare of the people, all the people of this nation is the responsibility of the government. What does that word "welfare" mean to you? It has several definitions in the dictionary and the the one that stood out the most was the one that implied the well being or health of someone, or people. A healthy population makes for a better nation, a stronger work force and resulting economy overall. It's not about giving something for nothing "free" as these tea baggers like to say. Its about what we all get in return when there is positive results. Our welfare leads back to a safe environment and safe food, air and water to name a few things that are helpful in maintaining our health/welfare, good medical care also goes hand in hand with that. It's not free, we the people pay for it with the income taxes from our work, the sales taxes we pay when we buy goods and services. No business is guaranteed a profit in our Constitution, but they are free to try to do so as long as they can play by all the rules that the rest of the people have to go by. To destroy the environment for profit is not conducive to our safety or welfare so all these corporations don't have any right to do so.
I do think that I was on topic here, it was about the Constitution and what it is for us as the people who own it. I am an Independent v**er and do not subscribe to the ideals of those on the left or the right. They both are totally wrong for our nation as a whole and are the reason you say we are being destroyed from within.

One of our major problems with Wash DC is who our elected officials are listening to. I think it's time to shut down all those think (stink) tanks there and make our servants comply with what We the People think. Those groups, advisory committees etc all of which are not representative of the people of this nation, they work for monster multi-national corporations and foreign interests, not you and me. Those groups are feeding the data they want to our public servants and pressing them to take the actions they want them to do.

I know this, I am one of those disabled veterans cued up for health care and those benefits I was promised when I first enlisted in the military. The care I do get there is first rate, the best in the world, it's slow because of the volume of patients that seems to be going up every day we are at war. And this "don't do s**t" congress won't spend the money to fully fund the VA. They will send $3.5 billion in military aid to israel in the blink of an eye, but they really don't care what happens to the veterans when they don't die in their wars of "resource domination and do wh**ever israel tells them to do". So F@#k this government, let's flush the toilet that Wash DC has become and drop in a new load.

Saddam had real control of Iraq, he had a secular government too. Women had more rights and freedoms there than they did in Bushes other best buddy's country there Saudi Arabia. I don't know why everyone is so worried about Iran for. They are Persians not Arabs have a great dislike for Arabs there, they don't really care what happens to them in any of the Arabic countries, they don't have the money to spend on causing problems in those "Arabic" countries that the CIA says they are. They may have some Muslims there and do practice that religion there, but, they have 20 million Hebrew (Jewish) folks there that are free to practice their religion as well, along with about every other religion we know of. Women can drive. go to school and hold jobs there all without restrictions. I think this "dislike" for Iran goes back to the oil thing because there the whole nation benefits from the sale of it's resources.
They have a lower tax rate there than the US and UK and they don't have an "offensive" military, it is there for their defense only so they have more funds available for stuff for their people, like universities and health care for all, infrastructure and the like. They are not just some crazy 3rd world country. So let's stop demanding for a war with Iran too. That applies to all the right wing nuts and pro-israelis foaming at the mouth for more blood from more of the brown people. All of these "police actions" we have done lately are done for 2 reasons, 1. to control the oil resources and 2. on behalf of israels "Greater israel" agenda. For no other reason.

I can agree that our Constitution should be the anchor for all of our laws. No religion should be given special favor or treatment within our laws. Making laws that support the belief or teachings of any religion is against the 1st amendment of the Constitution where is says the state shall not support religion, any religion. If you want to follow a particular religion it is your right as is it mine, but you and I don't have a right to mandate any of the beliefs or morals of our religions on all. That also applies to all of these religious morals based laws people want passed, anti birth control, same sex marriages, a******ns, marijuana and the like. They also violate our freedom of choice. This needs to be applied at the federal level in a uniform manner, in accordance with the Constitution and apply in every state equally.
E******n laws, b****ts and processes should also be uniform for all the states.
Christian law is no better than islamic or jewish law.
If you need laws that mandate your religious beliefs so you will follow them maybe you need to find a new religion that is easier for you to follow.

Tesla had designed a method of making free energy to be t***smitted to everyone over 100 years ago and Edison was totally against that idea, there is no profit in free energy. But to give you some food for thought, look into magnetic driven motors that turn generators that require no power input. That idea does work, I have seen them in action. To truly get us off of f****l f**ls it will take all of the alternative sources, wind, water, magnetic and solar. Also we will need to decentralize the power grid. Localize it. It is easier to manage and cost less to build on a smaller scale. We can install Thorium fueled reactors in our old nuclear power plants using them to dispose of the waste nuclear fuel rods from the old reactors and our useless weapons grade nuclear waste and produce power at the same time. According to some estimates there is enough waste fuel rods stored at reactor sites to give us about 100 years worth of energy if they started using Thorium reactors this way now. That in-turn will lower the cost of storage of the waste every year until all of it is burned up. But then you will piss off the weapons makers because you will take away their supplies of depleted uranium they need to make more WMD with.
And now for all the overtly religious types here who are saying the end is near, hum? Your type have been saying that for centuries now and it hasn't happened yet. So find a new cause. For those who say that science is just so evil, you need to stop using that evil science right now or you and all your families will burn in hell-fire forever.
Without all this science the computer or device you are using would not be around, nor would there be the energy to power it or the networks that allow for it's communications. You can throw away all this technology that is so evil and cut the power and phone lines from your caves or huts and live like your great-great-great-great grandpas great grandpa did back in the day. I too am not a "christian" nor am I of any other belief system practiced today. I have my own set of beliefs or "values" I choose to subscribe to.
I don't h**e anyone else, I might disagree with their actions and express my disagreement in one way or another.
No religious group has a right to mandate their beliefs on everyone else. I don't care how much you might believe your religion might be the right one you have no proof that it is, only hollow teachings of hollow men who have no other purpose except to force their beliefs on the masses.
Here in America we revolted against the monotheism of the kings church as much as we revolted against his taxation policies. Was that revolt and the blood shed done in vain? From my point of view it seems so. Because now we have the elite of the new monarchy living off the work of the serfs or working class. Who are footing the bill for the monarchy's wars of resource acquisition and control, sort of like the 21st century crusades in more ways the same as those from the 10th century, The major battles are fought in almost the same locations and for the same reasons for the most part. GREED and domination, dividing and conquering the smaller states forcing their ideologies upon many people who already have some of their own. Just like what the Europeans did to the Americas in the 15th century.
