Thank God, RELIGIOUS LIBERTY CREATED AMERICA
I'm over 70 years old and personally fortunate that I graduated from the tumult and trauma of the "School of Hard Knocks". I am thankful that I survived, serving my country to preserve, protect and defend the freedoms of our republic, as promulgated by our Declaration of Independence, and The U. S. Constitution.
I submit my grade school level, of U.S. History of America's Foundation that provided FREEDOMS for our nation, we were privileged to enjoy, prior to January 2009, in response to John Logsdon's opine of 04/05/2015 "Understanding the separation between church and state", as posted in the 'Citrus County Chronicle'.
I must agree with John's premise in quoting John Adams, "Our republic was not founded on any religion". (Quote is paraphrased ). HOWEVER... John, Facts prove that America's, Founders were Christian Leaders and prayerfully founded our republic, and LITERALLY... "Religious Liberty Created Our Republic". To which I say, "Should we 'Take God out of The Republic of We The People", "We are America, No More".
As age is upon me, and if memory serves me well, in grade school, I learned that Our countries Laws and Statutes prohibit the Leaders of our country from establishing a, or any form of Government Religion, Again HOWEVER, my research finds facts that prove our Founders decisively clarified the importance of America's religious liberty affairs, for example, 07/13/1787 "The Continental Congress did...Enact... The Northwest Ordinance, which reads in part, "Religion, morality, and knowledge, being necessary to good government and...", (paraphrased so as not to have too many words in my response). My Goodness , it is important for me to note that, the premise of all I have learned, is Physically on Record, in the Library of Congress. John, this worn-out old man of me, cannot find "Separation of church and state", in the Declaration of Independence, or the Constitution, or the Bill of Rights. I did find, "Endowed by our CREATOR" in one, "Blessings of Liberty", in another, "The year of our Lord", in another, and I found a very clear pronunciation of John Adams."The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God." --Adams wrote this on June 28, 1813, in a letter to Thomas Jefferson. Consequently, I find that America did have a religious foundation, at least in most of the hearts of the leaders in that circa.
Again, my research findings are on record in the Library of Congress, of the righteous cornerstones in the foundation of our republic, in the circa before, during, and after 1776, and continued through and up to 01/19/2009 when the executive and legislative branches of government began chipping away at our "Religious Liberty, that Created America".
Let us review just a few of the religious cornerstones in the foundation of our American Republic,... 1.) The Declaration of Independence, 2.) The Constitution, 3.) The Bill of Rights, and 4.) The B****stone Commentaries, and for our public schools,5.) The New England Primer.. I could cite many more but I am certain that the Chronicle, does not have the time, space, paper, or the ink to print the volumes"Christ-like", resources of our Congressional library, to further emphasize my point, "Religious Liberty Created America, and our foundation is emphatic with Christian Principles, as we debate "America's Religious Liberty Foundation. By the way, in comparison ,, since inception the "Congress Opens each session with Prayer, ..but we don't do that in our public schools any more". The references cited , need be read and surmised collectively, for when we reason them individually, there-in we may incite separation of proving "Religious Liberty Founded America", as we agree to disagree in the debate of proving that "Religious Liberty Founded the Republic we call America."
To all of which I restate to John Logsdon and all of America, "When we take God out of our Republic, America is no more."

Thanks, ...However,,, that is why I stated in the latter part of the POST, ...That the CONGRESS..."Senate", would make the rules and assign the significant persons to Tasks to serve the Adjudication.
