Let me share something with you ignorant teabaggers in this forum. My father was a Texan. I grew up with guns; I was gifted my first rifle (a Winchester .22) when I was ten. I was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army and qualified as a Special Operations team member at Bragg. After 10 years active and 11 years reserve duty I retired from the Army, and started my own engineering company. While I am not, nor ever have been, a member or of The American Rifle Association, I began my adult life supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States in uniform. However, the Amendment in that document that guarantees citizens the right to "bear arms" is not being interpreted in proper context by you stupid teabaggers.

After over two decades in uniform, including two combat operations in South America and a combat tour in the Persian Gulf, I have seen what weapons in the wrong hands can do in combat. I have also seen how guns in the hands of lunatics have wreaked havoc in my beloved country; from the Kennedy brothers to Martin Luther King, Jr., to innocent students on college campuses to children in elementary schools. I have heard all the irrational arguments about how stricter controls over access to guns and ammunition will not prevent such tragedies; how if we more strictly control guns, only the crooks will have guns.

To that I say - bulls**t. Oh sure, criminal gangs will probably always get their hands on weapons, but the fatal tragedies that I have have identified were not perpetrated by criminal gangs. The Kennedy brothers were k**led by disturbed loners, with much ‘hidden’ fanatical right-wing support to carry out their murderous deedd. James Earl Ray, King's assassin, falls into the same category. School shootings are carried out by disturbed young people who, because of gun control opposition, easily get their hands on guns to perform mass murder.

Lesson number one: When the Second Amendment was added to the Constitution, this was a frontier nation. People lived in isolated settlements, with no police protection. There was ‘real’ standing army, and frankly, given their raw feelings about the imperial British armed forces, The Founding Fathers may have not envisioned us having one.

Lesson number two: A well-regulated m*****a is not meant to support the insane murderous behaviors of teabaggers and w***e s*********t nuts who await the ‘Armageddon’ of becoming a minority in America; nor does the 'right to bear arms' mean that every bat-s**t crazy teabagging gun nut has the right to buy automatic rifles or armor piercing ammunition and use them to exorcise the demons that inhabit their pea sized cranium.

The Constitution was ultimately designed to ensure the common welfare of the American people and America as a nation. It's time all citizens did just that.

I suspect 99.9% of the current teabaggers, or more, are unfamiliar with that point as they've been pushed into oncoming traffic by folks who likely know that damned well, but don't care as long as they have easily-outraged suckers like you to fight for their greedy corporate interests - and against the best interests of the very folks they are pushing into traffic - YOU!
