This be less about the Constitution than about the nature of GOVERNment. The "citizen" has no viable role in the "balance of powers", which are reserved unto the legislative, executive and judicial branches, all of which hold the powers of Force and are structured to exclude the citizen. Thus periodically the citizens are allowed to v**e, and are merely on tiny voice amongst 320-some million people. The "v**e" is not about the many issues, but rather about some other candidate who the most popular promises.
Governments have never worked, not since the very beginnings of history, simply because all retain full powers of Force, and eventually are replaced with yet another version of the same old thing.

Yes, and we are totally distracted by one wrong after another, "tilting windmills" such that few dare to bother with the lone real issue, which is that we are GOVERNed and thereby RULED! Just to say that your title might be improved if "Common Sense For Liberals" read otherwise, e.g "collectivist". The word "Liberal" has been spun so far from the Jefferson Liberal so as to become meaningless. Today it means liberal with other people's money, which is being stolen by taxation.

The article is just plain amazing. I have always been skeptical about psychiatry without really knowing why, but the article was so clear and hard-hitting that now I do know why. Thanks for posting this!

Millions of we the people have not "signed up" for Obamacare, opting instead to use Medicare, for which most everyone was forced to pay for long ago.

Most all are Ruled by the various GOVERNments of Force. Their "citizens" are taxed by their Rulers to PAY for their tryanny. The terms left/right, republican/democrat, liberal/conservative, collectivist/capitalist, etc ad nauseum, are rendered meaningless. Clear concise definitions have become lost in the swamp of gibberish. It's been going on since the very beginnings of history.
Man writes "constitutions", create or declare "nations" and GOVERNments run by Rulers, always being the politicians who decree something "better" for the populace by making "laws" applicable only to the S***es they Rule. No "constitution" ever known has prevented any GOVERNment from immorally using it's Powers of Force to steal from it's "Subjects", make wars over other nations, religions, boundaries, nor any other contrived entity.
Which now brings mankind to the brink of the Great Global Collapse. When that finally hits, who supposes that human beings will (at long last) actually stand up for their natural Right to Life and act responsibly that they be GOVERNed never again?
