crazy, I am in favor of the help that the government helping out students in college. I just don't see how it is unconstitutional. First, the more educated the population is, the better it is for the country. Secondly, Colleges and universities in the US are among the most expensive in the world. How can students go into professions that don't pay a lot, if they have to pay enormous sums of money to pay back super expensive loans? Where will we get enough teachers, and social workers from?
Why are the colleges and universities in the United States so expensive? It is because of the 'Student Loan Program', you can tract back to before the program and see how much less expensive it was to go to college, then the program hit and boom colleges & universities hit the jackpot. Everyone seems to think college is for everyone but it is not, we need trade people, do you really think a college grad who majored in music, art, social studies or business would be able to fix a car's engine, electric motor or the electrical issues, install a new furnace/A/C, install plumbing in a new home, repair a refrigerator or lay a new water or sewer line? We need trades whether you believe it or not!
