According to your explanation of John 10 you have proved either that 1 John 2:27 isn't true or that you do no have that anointing from the Holy One. The only other option is that you do have the anointing but you cannot adequately discern truth because of your commitment to the traditions of men. 1 John 2:27 cannot mean that those who have the anointing are automatically guided into all truth, for then the scriptures would never have had to warn believers about being deceived.

Right. So if I claim that the holy spirit led me to arrive at my interpretation of the text, then how can we know which interpretation is right? Parky will no doubt say that his is correct because it aligns with the tradition. There is a certain circularity to his reasoning. Proper methods of exegesis, which involve taking into account authorial intent and historical and cultural contexts, have no part to play in interpreting the biblical text for him.

That is a rather superficial reading of the passage, which ignores the historical and cultural context in which it was written.

Different people mean different things by the word God.

Anyway, no I don't think Jesus is the one true God the creator.

What do you mean by 'God' in that question?

One must first acknowledge the one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God and Father of Jesus, turning from all other false gods. Then one must also acknowledge Jesus of Nazareth as the man whom God has chosen, through whom He will judge the world. This involves both repentance and faith and a continued allegience to both the one true God and His son to the end.
