Dear Friends,
It's not easy to step away from such a community as this especially at a time when the very fabric of our Republic seems to be under unprecedented strain. Yet, it is the path I find myself on, and I must tread it with resolve, carrying with me the wisdom and insights I've gained from you all.

Before I go, allow me to leave you with a piece of counsel that I hold dear. In the coming months, our convictions, our beliefs, and the very essence of our democracy will be tested in ways we've never seen. A barrage of deception, the likes of which modern America has yet to witness, will seek to divide us, to blur the lines between t***h and falsehood, right and wrong. In these times, it is imperative that we stand firm in our convictions, not swayed by the tumult of the times but guided by the principles that bind us to the cause of liberty and justice for all.
Here’s my farewell verse.

Within One Political Plaza, where minds met and clashed,
I found kinship, debate, where thoughts freely dashed.
Now, time calls me forth from this spirited fray,
Leaving behind the camaraderie of each day.
Though I step away, carrying your voices and views,
In the garden of memory, our discourse ensues.
Fare thee well, my companions in this digital space,
May our insights and friendships time never erase.

I wish you all the best,

Time to Rethink Your Never Trumpism
Kurt Schlichter

Okay, my Trump-shy friends, it’s time to put aside your fussy principles about how icky Donald Trump is. This is serious, and we need all hands on deck to throw Biden overboard before he gets a whole lot more Americans k**led. I get that you don’t like Trump. Let’s agree that he’s icky for the purposes of this discussion. Let’s agree that his tweets are mean, that he’s not a conservative ideologue, that he says dumb things and gets into useless fights, and that he does many other unseemly and annoying things. Let’s agree that this is all true. Let’s concede that in normal times, one might want to forgo supporting a guy like that. But these aren’t normal times.

This is getting real. This is life and death. Not just for cops and soldiers, but maybe even for you and your family.

Now, this column isn’t directed towards the professional Never Trumper dorks, the treacherous weirdos who make a living off of going on MSNBC and selling out their former allies. This is for the Republicans who have thought about it and have a real problem with Donald Trump. I get it, even if I don’t agree. I would not particularly like v****g for somebody who I don’t like. However, I like Donald Trump and will eagerly support him following his victory over my primary candidate, Ron DeSantis. But sometimes you need to do things you would rather not do. You have to let go of the anger. Even the governor got on board and endorsed the president once the primary results became clear.

So, this is for you guys who are having difficulty making that leap and backing Trump 2.0. I’m assuming that you are susceptible to reason. Some of you might not be. Let’s face it: A little bit of ego is involved here. There’s a performative aspect to not backing Donald Trump. You dug in against him, and digging yourself out and publicly changing your mind is tough. I get it. But when facts change, choices need to change. And boy, have the facts changed.

Let’s look at where our country is right now. It’s in a hole, and our alleged president is still digging. We have a wide open border. F******l is k*****g tens of thousands a year. Ten million i*****l a***ns have streamed across. We know many of them are criminals. They’re raping and murdering Americans right now. We can be relatively sure that a significant number of Chinese military infiltrators are among them. That will end badly unless we have a president who will do something about it, which Biden certainly never will. We can also surmise that a large number are active terrorists who, at some point, will launch a k*****g spree of the sort I wrote about in my new book, The Attack.

If Donald Trump is not elected president in November, this will continue for another four years. That is a lot of dead Americans. And you’ve got to ask yourself if protesting mean tweets worth those lives. Because that’s the choice you’re making. Even if you sit out the e******n, you’re effectively supporting Joe Biden by not actively supporting Donald Trump. Yes, I know you’re upset because there is a binary choice, and I know all the clichés about not wanting to choose the lesser of two evils but guess what? You’re faced with the choice between the lesser of two evils. That’s just the choice that exists. It might not be fair. You might not like it, but that’s what it is. And you’ve got to choose. Not choosing is choosing. Not choosing is choosing Joe Biden. And if you choose Joe Biden, you’re choosing a lot of deaths just because of his border betrayal.

What else are you choosing? Well, you’re choosing to abandon Israel to Hamas. That’s what Joe Biden is doing. You’re choosing to throw the Jewish state to the mercy of those psychopaths. And you’re doing it because you don’t like Donald Trump. Come on.

I’m not asking you to like Trump. I’m asking you to actively support him. Not to reward him. Not to high-five him. I’m asking you to actively support him for the sake of your country and your people. There are a lot of American soldiers out there in the line of fire who shouldn’t be but are because Joe Biden put a big target on their backs with his weakness, incompetence, and appeasement. He’s going to get even more of our troops k**led. You can say what you want about Donald Trump, and you do, but he took care of our soldiers. He didn’t get them into useless fights. When he had to fight, he won – ask ISIS in Iraq. Joe Biden, on the other hand, invites attacks on our troops and refuses to retaliate when they happen properly. You have seen the pictures of those three dead soldiers that he recently k**led in Jordan. You have seen photos of the 13 troops he got k**led in Kabul and the Afghanistan retreat. You’ll see more if you choose to support Joe Biden by choosing not to support Donald Trump.

Yeah, I know that’s pretty harsh, growing down the dead troops card. But dead troops is the hand we’ve been dealt. You’re an adult. You’ve got to make a choice. No choice is choosing Biden. Understand what choosing not to support Trump means. It means dead Americans.

Now, one of the criticisms of this practical and utilitarian approach to politics – that is, treated reality is real – is that the Republican Party will never learn its lesson about nominating guys like Donald Trump unless Donald Trump loses. Well, maybe you’re some special genius who has discovered a way to lose your way to victory, but the traditional way to win is by winning. You’re not teaching the Republicans a lesson by rejecting Donald Trump. The base’s embrace of Donald Trump should be a lesson to the establishment, which created Donald Trump by its refusal to address the problems that mattered to actual v**ers as opposed to the problems that mattered to actual politicians. If you think you will somehow convince people to go back to the Romney era, that will not happen. Maybe Donald Trump Trump’s not your conservative, but he’s the kind of conservative who isn’t Joe Biden, and dammit, that should be enough.

It’s time to get serious and abandon the posturing. You need to support Donald Trump actively and enthusiastically. A lot is riding on it, and your p***e is the least important thing riding on it.

I really like that you attempted to have a conversation based in reality. You acknowledged their concerns and presented valid reasons on why their support would be beneficial for our country.
I suspect that they will respond by hurling a barrage of insults and accusations . I hope not.

**The Miraculous Genesis of Value.

In the beginning, there was nothing. And then, suddenly, by some twist of fate or possibly a cosmic glitch, there appeared something of value, much like the surprise appearance of your forgotten leftovers in the back of the fridge that somehow still taste good. This phenomenon, often referred to by economists as the "Big Bang of Bootstrapping" or "Creation ex Nihilo, But Make It Profitable," offers an intriguing case study on the genesis of value from the seemingly vast, empty void of nothingness.

At first glance, creating something of value from nothing might seem as plausible as finding a unicorn at your local grocery store. Yet, throughout history (and very creative accounting practices), humans have consistently turned the void into value, much like alchemists attempting to turn lead into gold, but with better PR.

Let's delve into the methodology, shall we? The first step in creating value from nothing is to redefine "nothing." After all, "nothing" is merely a canvas for the imagination, an untapped potential waiting for the right moment to metamorphose into the "next big thing." This could be as tangible as inventing a new gadget that solves a problem we didn't know we had or as abstract as creating digital artwork that exists to confuse and amaze in equal measure.

The process often involves a healthy dose of creativity, a pinch of audacity, and an unparalleled ability to ignore the doubters. It's a recipe that has produced everything from pet rocks (a masterclass in marketing mundane minerals) to cryptocurrencies (virtual coins mined not from earth, but from the ether of the internet). These examples underscore a key principle in the paradoxical cookbook of value creation: perception is the real crème brûlée.

To truly excel in the art of making something from nothing, one must also master the art of storytelling. The narrative surrounding a product or idea can endow it with value that far surpasses its material cost. Through the alchemy of narrative, a pair of sneakers can transcend its humble rubber and fabric to become a symbol of cultural identity, fetching prices that would make even Midas blush.

In this light, creating value from nothing is akin to a highly sophisticated magic trick, where the magician convinces the audience to suspend disbelief and buy into the illusion. It's a testament to human creativity and our relentless pursuit of innovation, even if that sometimes means selling water (arguably the most abundant resource on earth) in bottles as a lifestyle choice.

In conclusion, the journey from nothing to something of value is not just a tale of economic gain but a parodic esprit reflecting human ingenuity and our remarkable ability to see beyond the immediate, into the realm of what could be. It teaches us that with a dollop of creativity, a dash of audacity, and an endless supply of storytelling, even the most unassuming nothing can become a resounding something, reminding us all that in the grand marketplace of life, the most valuable currency is imagination.

3 arrested for allegedly stealing $74,000 in merchandise from Targets stores in Mesa, Tucson

The suspects have been connected to at least 12 thefts at Target stores across Arizona, police say.

TUCSON, Ariz. — Three people are facing criminal charges after they were allegedly involved in stealing over $74,000 in merchandise from Target stores across the Phoenix and Tucson areas.

Starting on March 16, a trio of suspects began stealing a large amount of cosmetics and skin-care products from Target stores in the East Valley.

By March 27, the suspects had allegedly stolen $35,000 worth of stolen goods from Target.

The Tucson Police Department was notified by Target that the suspects may be traveling from Phoenix to Tucson to commit more thefts. When Tucson police was receiving this information, the trio had already stolen $18,500 worth of merchandise from three local stores.

Tucson police officers were dispatched to a Target store near 22nd Street and Old Spanish Trail where they allegedly observed the trio arriving at the store and stealing $6,000 in cosmetics. After leaving the Target, officers conducted a traffic stop and took the three individuals into custody on March 27.

The trio was connected to at least 12 retails thefts in Arizona and police returned the stolen goods to Target.

The suspects have been identified as Dorinta Velcu, 27, Franchesca Traila, 21, and a 16-year-old girl. The women were booked into jail and the teenager was cited and released.

Tucson police said the investigation is ongoing and more charges may be filed.

"Why Pissing in the Wind is a Brilliant Idea: A Surprisingly Enlightening Exploration"

In the grand tradition of contrarian wisdom, let’s discuss a concept that might initially seem… misguided. Yes, today we champion the unsung virtues of pissing into the wind. Before you recoil in horror or dismiss this as mere folly, consider the following arguments that unapologetically celebrate this audacious act.

## 1. **Aim and Precision Training**

Firstly, pissing in the wind is not for the faint of heart or those lacking in confidence. It demands precision, control, and a keen understanding of aerodynamics. Each attempt is a masterclass in physics, a chance to refine your aim under the most challenging conditions. Miss and face the consequences; succeed and bask in the glory of your sk**lful navigation through the gusts.

## 2. **A Thrilling Challenge**

Life is full of safe, boring choices. Why not spice things up by adding an element of risk? The thrill of standing, exposed and vulnerable, as you attempt to defy the natural elements, injects a dose of adrenaline into the mundane act of relieving oneself. It’s a story waiting to happen, a tale of courage and daring that you’ll proudly recount to disbelieving listeners for years to come.

## 3. **Character Building**

There’s a saying that goes, “What doesn’t soak you makes you stronger.” Pissing into the wind is a profound exercise in humility, resilience, and self-reflection. It teaches acceptance of life’s unpredictable nature and the importance of facing challenges head-on. When you emerge, slightly damp but undeterred, you’ll find yourself fortified by the experience, a hardened veteran of the wind.

## 4. **Promotes Creativity**

The creative problem-solving sk**ls that one develops are unparalleled. Faced with the dilemma of direction and force, you must innovate, adapt and overcome. Perhaps it involves a strategic stance, an inventive funnel device, or the utilization of surrounding architecture. Each gust is an invitation to innovate.

## 5. **Environmental Awareness**

Engaging in this elemental dance fosters a deep connection with the natural world. It’s a visceral reminder of the forces that shape our planet and our humble place within it. You become acutely aware of wind patterns, temperature shifts, and the subtle cues that dictate the ebbs and flows of the earth’s breath.

## 6. **The Ultimate Test of Friendship**

Finally, a friend who will stand by you as you brave the elements, offering strategic advice or simply moral support, is a friend indeed. This act can either forge unbreakable bonds through shared trials or, at the very least, provide a litmus test for detecting true camaraderie.

In conclusion, while pissing in the wind might seem like an exercise in futility or masochism, it is, in fact, a layered and complex pursuit teeming with life lessons, growth opportunities, and the sheer joy of embracing the absurd. So, next time you feel the breeze picking up, maybe consider turning into it, rather than away. You might just discover something profound. Or, at the very least, you'll have a great story to tell.
