Huh. I took his name as standing for "deliberately obtuse".....I guess I dont get the reference either.
You guessed right. Deli Bob was a second meaning that just appeared fortuitously from the spelling.

It may not have made any sense anyway. Sometimes it is just playing around.

Do you always judge people so quickly? Well, I do too, sometimes. I just made one of you. You approve of Kev's comments and that makes you a new, dipstick. And I will probably enjoy Deli Bob's comments much more than yours. Have a nice day, if that's even possible.
Oh, so this is where you had offended me. I was seeing your comment to me about it in another thread. Oh well, never mind, I'll get over it. I'm familiar with reading OOP so I have some immunity built up (and have seen worse, of course, even just on OOP). Besides, Bob (or me, writing as Bob) is a dork anyway; I don't like him all that much either. No offense Bob. That's alright Bob.

My bad, you and Deli Bob are one and the same person. You have a kind of, split personality, thing going on. A sense of humor and a left-leaning brain. This could get interesting. I will await further developments before making anymore snap judgments, for the time being. My bad, for now.
I can say that some of your guess is good.
I don't recall being offended, and probably wasn't. So that's ok.

Thank you! I hope and pray she's safe!
I, too, actually have a close relative living in an apartment somewhere in Greater New York City, my relative who is at most risk in the p******c. However, we at Deli Bob's don't take that entirely seriously. We would rather make a joke about it, which is sort of why I am not living within a stone's throw of her.

I think that most of us here use f**e names, it is safer. I think you will be a great addition to the chat group. Looks like you have a slightly warped sense of humor, a man after my own heart!

Please note that my wife shares the posts and goes by She Who Must Be Obeyed (SWMBO)
Welcome aboard!!!
Thanks. Well then, I hope I don't run afoul of your wife.

You're right. There are more than three, but these are the ones you'll probably run across the most.
Not what I meant. But Deli Bob's not a serious character anyway, so never mind.
F**E NEWS! F**E NEWS!
President Trump yesterday explained in the Tulsa rally that increases in numbers of C****-** cases were due to increased testing and said he would slow down the testing program.
Speaking to a crowd of nearly 7,000 supporters in the rally, packing the front seats of the 19,000-seat auditorium, the mask-less president also floated the idea of closing coroners offices nationwide. "We don't need all those high numbers of deaths in our Great Nation," he said, to raucous cheers from the mask-less supporters.
Local and national medical officials have expressed concern that the indoor rally would be a spawning ground of new cases of C****-** -- a so-called super-spreader event. However, with anticipated decreased testing and also decreased numbers of coroner reports, the president seems to have met the challenge. Not only will we see fewer cases of C****-**, but also fewer deaths from any causes.
White House officials explained today that the President was only joking. Asked about which parts were jokes and which were serious, they said he was serious when he said we never hear of protesters not wearing masks -- which may be because protesters do wear masks.

You have your own opinion, but not a phone? What kind of priorities is that? What do you do when you need to "call" an ambulance ... shout an "opinion" into the air?

Why is that we're constantly given bad choices? The two party system is a fallacy, but one that persists in most people's minds. What would happen if the people gave a non dem, non repub an e*******l college majority? I'll tell you what would happen - dems and repubs would agree to invalidate the results, and since only repub or dems sit on federal benches and SCOTUS - that decision would stick.
How does it feel to be a hostage in your own country?
Oh my, I feel a rare bout of lucidity coming on. First Proud Republican, then you. I congratulate the both of you for writing as you did. I am inspired. But I'll get over it. My character is more uncomprehending.

Now that we've got that little detail out of the way ...
Hi, my friends call me Deli Bob. Or, would.
I read through the rules, and I didn't find anything prohibiting dishonesty, so here I am.
I am the much sought-after Deep State advisor to the President. (Why are they sought-aftering me? _I_ didn't do anything!). But that's just a part-time job. I don't take it too seriously. I spend more time in my deli which is on the Lower Geese Side, serving sandwiches and other DELItes. I'm kind of dumb, but, again, there was nothing prohibiting that in the rules. Well, chow.
