Many go to nursing schools; sometimes a hybrid of vocational/technical schools and colleges. Some go to college. some go to specialize vocational/technical schools. You're missing the whole point of the article because you're too busy arguing insignificant issues. The point is, if you watched the video you would know this, college is expensive and many come away with crushing debt, many are not suited for college, and we also need people who can actually do things. Granted that apprenticeships may be long for some professions. Becoming a doctor isn't exactly a short route. You want to argue for the sake of arguing. Give it a rest. Good and bad points have been made on both sides. No side is perfect but one has to decide the best route for themself. What is it about a person having the freedom to choose for themself the direction in which to want to take their life that you find so objectionable?

Now that my fingers are thawing out (it was in the 20’s in Raleigh, N.C.) I will go over the American Dollar and how it changed- but didn’t.
During our country’s brand new existence, when we were nation-states, we had almost no money except for British money.
What did we ‘pay’ our Colonial Army with ? A paper script called a “Continental.”
It was our first experiment with paper money, and it begat a phrase- “ Worthless As a Continental.”
Troops, Citizens, merchants were at each other’s throats. Magistrates were hung, Constables k**led, it was 100 percent inflation.
It peaked in the 1780’s. Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Hamilton et al were writing and planning on ‘what to do to end the crisis.’
Hamilton finally said hey guys, what did Spain leave behind ? The dollar of Silver (and other coinage). Let’s adopt that dollar as our dollar, which is ( to this day) 412.5 grains of standard silver, or 371 grains of .999 fine silver.
We were on a silver standard. Gold was also proportional in value.
When the Fabian Socialists and other banking elite pushed a propaganda campaign of let’s print paper money but only one dollar per dollar Note ( thus no inflation), it became acceptable.
Then came the Civil War crises of the Lincoln Greenback. Once the paper notes were turned in and ‘redeemed’ the Treasury burned them.
Result ? Assassinate Lincoln and keep printing money.
Next president shot over money was McKinley. Then JFK, who was getting rid of “Federal Reserve Notes” and was replacing them with United States Notes, at ‘ no interest.’ Supposedly the ‘issue vault’ is loaded the Kennedy Notes but are stopped from being released in to “general circulation.”
When the Z*****t banking cartel couldn’t stop JFK from printing the no interest Notes they pushed for a change to “copper, nickel and zinc” coins. Kennedy said no. They, via CIA et al murdered him in Dallas.
Johnson takes office and now we have unlawful coinage. And he stopped issuing United States Notes.
We are technically at 100 percent inflation. We have zero Constitutionally- mandated lawful money.

Don't be so quick to judge I was a CNA for 12 years and didn't have to go to school for it was trained in the nursing home facility but later was required to be tested to certify at a tech school. Went to tech school for LPN for 15 months but if you want a nursing RN you have to have 2 yrs of college for an associate's and 4 years for BSN then you can specialize or keep going and become a physician assistant. X-Ray techs or computer specialists for more in-depth in computer go to some place like deVry there are many tech degrees where if you go beyond tech education then college is required have noticed of late some tech schools have changed over to say their college now
