We can still be friends even though we might disagree on some points of theology. I lean toward Swedenborg's writings because they make more sense and require less suspension of disbelief. But you will not learn that unless you spend some reading and learning about him and his doctrines.

Jesus came to be known for his preaching of repentance for one's sins. Christ never spoke of Armageddon or the rapture. These are man-made doctrine.

Emmanuel Swedenborg proposed an alternative. Heaven and Hell are within YOU, depending on whether you live a life of kindness and charity or selfishness. You make your own happiness and true happiness comes from being useful and doing good -- i,e, loving your neighbor.

Swedenborg also claimed that we all have "spirit" or "soul" which is separate from the body. That is what continues into the afterlife. I think the desire to get re-elected to a lucrative and ego-inflating job outweighs all common sense and sense of duty to the people who elected them.

Unfortunately, most people make judgements and v**e for pleasing personalities. That is why nit is so easy for hustlers to con people. Who would give money or other valuables to a surly person? Trump wasn't pleasant so Trump did not like him. Many people failed to recognize his worthy goals and accomplishments.

America will suffer for that lack of understanding. Already the Biden-Harris-Schumer-Pelosi hegemony has decreed that our borders are open to all regardless of ability to get a job and regardless of whether they are carriers of a communicable disease. This will assure that American citizens will have more competition for wh**ever jobs are available in a down economy so they will be forced to take jobs at wages below what the immigrants are willing to work for.

On top of that, the hegemon has k**led the jobs of tens of thousands of well-paid eneergy-sector workers.
And more anti-American edicts have already joined those two andmore will follow.

The un-democratic Democrat majority has sowed a breeze and will reap a whirl-wind.

The seeds of recession were sown many administrations ago with ongoing deficit spending and the creation of fiat money. Congress continually spends more money than it takes in, adding to the deficit year after year. Even if Congress eliminated all wasteful programs, recession can only be delayed; not avoided.

The present congress is all in for more government -- i.e. more spending. With no feasible increase in income, or course.
