Trump is the most vindictive person in American politics. He wants the be like Vlad the Blackmailer when he grows up (as if that will ever happen).
The ReTrumplicans are only carrying out his whims because there isn't a backbone among them.

It sounds like CNN and the reviewers above expect the Democrats to act like Mitch McConnell ("Our objective is to make sure this president fails."). I don't think the Democrats are either as organized or as vindictive as the ReTrumplicans.
