It just won't happen. There is no way, zip, zilch, zero, that Pelosi or McCain will be removed from office for the reason that no Conservative is going to v**e for a socialist and the incumbents' name recognition defeats any same party opposition. We NEED term limits. We have it here in State government and we need it in federal politics. Lifetime Senators and Representitives was not the intention of our founders.

You are totally correct. Our founding fathers never intended life-time appointments for senators or reps.

I think that we should drop their salary to about $50,000 and make them pay for their own healthcare that way maybe they will appreciate their jobs more. They only work part time as it is anyway.

Good idea! How do you plan to implement that plan?

Yes.

The congress members say all that money, all those benefits, etc., for a part-time job is necessary to "attract highest-level applicants, the "best qualified".

Well, I am far from impressed what with democrats who immediately disregard their oaths of office, have disregard for the Constitution, and show disdain for the general public. Oh, and let us not forget those republicans who believe acting just like democrats is 'Job One'.

We have been betrayed and the mechanisms- designed by congress- for the continuance of the same is appalling.

I think that it would require a change to the constitution to enact term limits I know it did when they cut the number of terms that a president could serve. That required a change to the constitution as well.

The Twenty-second Amendment (Amendment XXII) of the United States Constitution sets a term limit for e******n and overall time of service to the office of President of the United States. Congress passed the amendment on March 21, 1947.

I'm pretty sure term limits require an act of congress ... dead in the water before it leaves the shore!

The 'totally insane lefties' are everywhere ... not just here. I'm on Facebook and have noticed that fewer members reply to political posts and I wonder why ...

Unless you control the bureaucracy, the bureaucracy controls you. We the People are failing miserably at controlling the bureaucracy. And at protecting our legally elected President.

Welcome aboard and you will find plenty of support on here and you will also find a number of trolls as well. The trolls aren't that bright but they are fun to mess with. Remember to use the quote reply tad in the bottom middle of a persons quote and that way what ever they have in their post will be carried into your reply to them. That way it is easier to follow each other on here.

Not sure what the "quote reply tad (tab?)" is!

I became so angry at a congressman back in 2008 that I started a Federal PAC ... Change the Congress in 2010 ... and we did! Sitting at my computer, I asked for money, I endorsed candidates all across the country, and donated $20.10 when I had it or nothing when the bank was empty (more often than not!). Candidates were so happy to receive a letter of endorsement from a Federal PAC most didn't care about the small amount of money. One candidate even returned it when he lost his primary ... told me to give it to another candidate!!

The congressman?? No clue who but I can remember what he said ... We the People has been calling Congress so much we overloaded their phone system. This i***t said that didn't mean anything except they needed new telephones!!! Such a small thing, right?

When 2012 rolled around, I changed the name of the PAC to CHANGE! for the Better ... but p**********l politics took focus off congress and I shut down the PAC after the November e******n.

When Donald Trump announced he was running for President, I knew that he was a winner and jumped right on the Trump Train. I'm still an adorable deplorable!
