I have a question. If we will not allow 18-year-olds to have, own, or handle a gun do we start drafting 21-year-olds into the armed service? Remember our 18-year-olds are the ones that join the all-volunteer military. If they are made to wait until they turn 21 our army will lose a large number of recruits.

I'm an 80-year-old man. Except for the time I spent in the Army I was an owner operator truck driver all my life. I have a daughter who is the wife of a preacher, and a son who lives under a bridge. Twice I bought a truck for my son to drive hoping to give him a new start in life. Both times the drugs took him back to a life of living as a lost sole. I must tell you that if you held a gun to my head and ordered me to shot up. smoke up or snort up a drug I would tell you to pull the f***ing trigger. I H**E the asses who sell that crap with a passion. I believe that a drug dealer should be tried for murder. They are k*****g our kids as surely as a man with a gun. Maybe not as fast, but just as deadly. I know as a Christian I'm told to forgive a sinner but that is one sin I will never forgive. Sorry to get on a rant like this but you all hit a nerv on this post.
