Eden, Fox is not the be-all and end-all, but MSNBC, NBC, CBS, & ABC definitely reflect distorted liberal dogma without the blink of an eye. Just note that a true Independent Conservative does not indiscriminately buy the brash O'Reilly line as the man is full of himself.

Even if their ratings are high I would suggest that is more because people just love to watch a good fight and there is always some cantankerous coot leaving spittle on the microphone to provide a short burst of entertainment. Hardly anybody smiles and any time the President or the "this administration" is mentioned which is to say roughly every third sentence it is always framed in the most negative light. I have never, ever heard Fox report anything positive about about the first family. You get the impression they even h**e his toothbrush. I recall the interview of the President by Brett Baier. Baier came across as personally angry, almost like he was about to lunge out of his chair at Obama. I am all for vigorous confrontation of public figures but a professional journalist keeps his personal inclinations in check. Fox is an entertainment and reality channel and in the interests of t***h in advertising they should present themselves as such.
Pandering to the baying hounds on either side of the political divide while it may get ratings does not qualify you to be a legitimate news show.

Most of the Main Street Media is Liberal but one lousy non-liberal (not yet) station like Fox is held in total disdain. As a Conservative, I often fault Fox but Liberals never fault their own, no matter what. Some of what goes down at MSNBC in particular, and sometimes CNN, boggles the mind, but Liberals lap it up like the Kool Aid it often is.

The "shutdown" is not a shutdown but a slow down to the 64 cents on the dollar expenditure that government receives each month. Bills would still be paid but unnecessary expenses would be prioritized and cut. As to being deadbeats, your type are the true deadbeats because you want monies to be spent on your behalf as long as future generations will be forced to pay your excessive bar tabs. Deadbeats always want free drinks.
