Here's a good one: take a match. Light a joint. hold onto it and see what happens. then do the same with a stick of tnt.

Good one Mike, with our luck he won`t try it, too bad.

I gave you the benefit of the dought, but on second hand, you are obiously too stupid to have any credence in anything you say, and too dumb to know it. I really feel sorry for you. You are whacked out on something, and it`s not marajuana, because those people are a thousand times more lucid than you could ever be. Stop waisting time playing these games, at this time noone takes you for real. You choose to be a loner because of your ignorance. I guess there`s no cure for stupid.

JKT knows nothing about it. My parents are in their 70's, have been smoking weed for 40 years, never been to jail or the psyche ward (which is probably more than JKT can say!), they're retired, own their home, never been in an accident, mind their own business and pretty much get along with everyone. JTK's position is as asinine as everything else he says.

Big Mike, I`m 70 and the same goes for me, I`ve grown up knowing people exactly like that, Doctors, Lawyers and an American Airline pilot friend of mine and other professional people who have and are still smoking, and have never had an incident under the enfluence of it. I just know that JKT will have known many that have, which means absolutely nothing. I know many people that have hunted all their lives and never shot anyone or themselves, like Chaney. Now I`m waiting for some more sophomoric remarks by clueless. His handle ought to be Justwaistingtime.

Oh, I'm interested. Our prison system, its unintended side effects and the money trail associated with it make me sick and it all needs to be exposed. Recent history: After the declaration of the WAR ON DRUGS Florida's prisons filled up so quickly and so over capacity that a judge ordered them to do something about it, so, at count time they would load school busses full of prisoners and drive them around the block a few times until count was over because "prisoners in t***sit" did not need to be counted. The way prisons were paid by the state to house prisoners worked like this: For every day a prisoner was good, 2 extra days were knocked off the end of his sentence so if he didn't cause trouble he ended up doing a third of his time. The prison system however, was paid for the full amount rounded up to the nearest year, so if a prisoner had a 18 month sentence he was kicked out in 6 months but the prison system was paid for 2 full years. Oh yeah! Minor drug offenders were a hot commodity then to the legal establishment! They were plentiful, relatively safe to apprehend and they were worth a boatload of taxpayer cash to wh**ever law enforcement agencies that dealt with them. Oh..and the owner of P***E Industries, the prisoner work industry which made everything from soap, to shoes to kitchen chairs and was one of Florida's larger money makers was owned by Jack Eckard who also owned the Eckard drug store chain. Incidently, he ran for governor twice. Thank God he was defeated!

The prison system is the biggest group of organized corruption criminals in this country, and I don`t mean the inmates.

You can control how explosives are used so the user determines whether or not they are dangerous. You cannot control marijuana because using it distorts your ability to think and act rationally. You cannot use marijuana without forfeiting your ability to control it because using it means marijuana controls you.

It doesn`t control you, it has an effect on you, there is a difference. Controlling you means you have no choice in your own control. Marijuana impairs your control, they don`t mean the same thing. Takeing blood pressure meds impairs you. Takeing prostate meds impair you. Takeing prozac impairs you, how many people are on prozac, and go to work every day or are on blood pressure meds and drive to work? I would never reccomend driving while useing weed. Who would?

It was tighter 40 years ago during the hippie days. How did that work out? It was tighter during the late 70's and early 80's when the nation went on an orgy of prison building and we became the number one locker-uppers of our citizenry in the world. In 20 years our prison population quadrupled and in some places quintupled! How has that worked out? You obviouly know nothing about prison and the way it turns relatively minor offenders into desperate criminals because if they don't go along with the real monsters who need to be in prison they get k**led. You obviously can't see how our current prison policy turns taxpayer money into campaign warchests for the same people who espouse the very things you cited as being wrong with the country. I hope you get satisfaction from arguing about minute, petty little details. it will keep you distracted while we go broke and anarchy takes over the streets.

Big Mike, I agree with you 100%, he doesn`t have a clue what`s in the real world. I just believe that he`s never been exposed to the underbelly of this world. He can`t talk with real authority until he has and I hope he never sees it because he couldn`t take it. You`re a survivor and it has made a better and stronger person of you, and an authority on real life. Sometimes you have to live it to really understand, obviously he`s never been there. He really IS just K*****g time with his picayune banter. He`s afraid to learn anything from you, that`s his lost not yours. We have more people in prison in this country than any other country in the world, encludeing Russia, and China, and China has many more people than we do. Our prisons are loaded with harmless people, why, they get paid for so many heads, that`s all they are to the authorities. With DNA evidence they are now proveing that hundreds of inmates are innocent, in many cases the DAs office knew they were innocent by evidence that they never allowed the courts to see. They went right on and convicted them so that their record would look good, to hell with the peoples life ruined forever. In some states they wouldn`t let the wrongly convicted inmates sue for damages. They have to sign a waiver of rights before they will let them out or they don`t get out, even though they were innocent. It could go on and on but I`m sure you`re not that interested. This is for JKT. and that he is./

An explosive is not inherently dangerous. TNT can be used to blow a hole through a mountain in order to recover the coal therein or build a road tunnel. TNT can also be used to build a bomb. Wait just a minute there, TNT IS inherently dangerous, it`s nitro gliscerene that has been somewhat stabilized. Although it can be used for good, it can also blow your head off by accident, it`s still dangerous. Meditation also alters the mental and physiological functioning of the body, is that in the same class ?

But what about the people you don’t know who do smoke marijuana and do end up using harder drugs?

I have already stated that some people are predisposed to drug use in general. Knowing what we know about heroin, why would anyone try it? Yet thousands of people have. There are people that would do anything.
