A free public education instituted early in this country's history set us apart from other nations. You shouldn't be afraid of an educated population, it is what made the country strong.
Religious freedom is one of the basic tenets of the USA. Whose religion would you choose to be taught in public schools that are financed by taxpayers of all religions and some with no religion? Religion should be taught in the church, mosque or synagogue and in the home.

Yes I started out doing precinct work, passing out fliers and registering new v**ers. As a very young person before I was old enough to v**e, I started "Young Republicans for Eisenhower" in my small city.
I was elected to the Board of Education of a major city. Before that I was on the executive staff of the mayor of that city. And what have you done except post snide remarks about people who dare to have an opinion different from yours? That attitude is the perfect example of prejudice.

"There is no doubt" this and that but no proof that there is no doubt except in your own little minds. There is no doubt that Chambers was exposed and vilified for the t*****r he was Joe McCarthy was exposed as an alcoholic and a liar. He held up a paper he said contained the names of government officials who were members of the C*******t party but never made it public because it couldn't be verified (if it existed at all). Respected attorney Joseph Welch publicly and famously exposed McCarthy's lies and said to McCarthy,"Have you no shame, sir, have you no shame?" That and the commentary by legendary TV commentator Edward R. Murrow put an end to Welch's h**e campaign.

If the poster knew anything about Jews ( he or she obviously knows little) that person would know we don't walk in lockstep and have no "Chief Rabbi" who tells us how to think. An old Yiddish expression sums it up by saying if you ask two Jews for an opinion, you get three different responses. The post is on the the very edge of being anti-Semitic.
