Understood. I just hope that you or anyone else doesn't generalize when referring to gay people. We are certainly not all the same nor do we all believe in the same things. I understand your position and I respect that. Thank you for not flying off the handle at me for my long diatribe. Good day sir.

 Every word of this is simply pure bulls**t, plain and simple. Being gay in not a "lifestyle". It's just simply being. I'm so sick and tired of straight people saying that this is a choice. Nothing could be further from the t***h. The t***h will come when I stand before God himself on judgement day. I was born this way. I know you're tired of us saying this. But it's true. Tell me, at what point in your life did you choose to be straight? Can you honestly believe that all of the gay people in the world (and there are more of us than you think) would choose this? Why would we? All of this uprising and fighting? All of the ridicule and bullying we face as kids and adolescents? The second-class citizen treatment that we're currently dealing with? I also suppose you believe that AIDS is a punishment from God. Do you also believe that w****s are the superior race? That a woman's place is in the kitchen? That Hitler and Stalin were just misunderstood? It basically boils down to this: I am an American citizen. The U.S. Constitution was written for me just as well as for you. I should have the same rights as you. The Bible may condemn homosexuality in the Old Testament, but in the New Testament, not so much. The Bible also says that a lot of other things and "lifestyles" are wrong, but people around the world do and live them freely all the time. Do I think Indiana and Arkansas should be receiving all of this negative backlash? No. Absolutely not. Don't I want bakeries to make my cake or a pizzeria cater a wedding with pizza if it goes against their religious beliefs? No. Absolutely not. There businesses out there that will. I don't agree with some of the positions that people are taking with these businesses that won't. They have that right. We all have those rights. All we want in the end, is to be treated like any other American citizen. That's all. Gay people raising kids? I actually have some reservations about that. But I won't get into that. How does my God given way of life affect you? How does a gay couple being married affect you? It doesn't. Straight people have done a bang-up job with the "sanctity" of marriage. Committing adultery. Divorce and multiple marriages. Could gay people really do any worse? Live and let live man. Let God do the judging.
