What I'm learning from all this is that it is ok for Democrats to break rules and laws, but it is not ok for Republicans. If Comey were a Republican, he would be in jail right now for treasonous acts against the government. Same thing for Hillary. And Bill and McCabe and Brennan, etc.

That's the t***h!

I'm not into assuming anything about something like this. Too many moving parts, too many unknowns, too many possibilities. Who really knows what could happen?

On that other issue, not being one of your ilk who, I'm sure, are well versed in that particular double jointed, contortionist maneuver, I simply wouldn't know how to comply with your suggestion.

However, as I suggested previously, if that sort of activity has become a regular part of your nightly regime I really would recommend your seeking professional help before you get stuck in that position, thereby resembling something along the lines of a human Krispy Kreme®.

"In other words"? I would have hoped you'd gotten more out my post than merely unqualified assumptions.

There is a big difference between violating the FBI codes of conduct and committing federal crimes, yet both are reasonable allegations against Comey at all levels.

Surely you must know that the greatest political scandal in American history involves a president, high level members of his administration, weaponization of federal agencies, a candidate for POTUS, her staff, the DNC, law firms, opposition research groups, a foreign intel agent, Russian oligarchs, covert operatives and so on.

Do you actually believe that an investigation of such a massive conspiracy is going to be easy? Do you really believe that nailing one player in this unconscionable affair is going to satisfy any sense of justice? I could be a start, but there are many bigger fish to fry.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I am well aware of the treason by Obama all the way down the corrupt ladder.

People committed crimes worthy of death, and I don't believe that anyone will actually go to prison, when it's all said and done.

Double justice system? I am upset that Gen. Michael Flynn lost his home and lifetime savings to defending a lie accused of him, that he did not purposely do.

There are more crimes for Comey to be released. The FISA warrant. I think that is the most serious one. And if DOJ Barr still don't prosecute, I will not trust him anymore. Need to change him. I don't want Comey's apology. I want accountability.

I truly hope that Barr does have some "stand alone backbone"

Here is the sum total of the IG's report against Comey:

* Comey had a private conversation with president Trump.
* At that meeting, Trump asked Comey to drop the investigation of NSA Flynn,
* Comey wrote a memo of that meeting
* Comey shared the handwritten memo with a friend for release to the media.
* Comey's friend leaked the memo to the New York Times,
* the purpose of the leak was to pressure the DOJ to launch an independent investigation into Comey's conversations with President Trump. (NSA Flynn)
* The memo contained no classified information, though it was sensitive info, it was more like the minutes of a meeting.
* The IG's report said that in leaking this memo, Comey set a dangerous precedent in trying to create public pressure for official action.

The IG report stated: "Were current or former FBI employees to follow the former Director's example and disclose sensitive information in service of their own strongly held personal convictions, the FBI would be unable to dispatch its law enforcement duties properly."

The IG report stated: "Former FBI Director James Comey violated FBI policies in his handling of memos documenting private conversations with President Donald Trump"

This is a warning, it does not violate any existing federal statute. The leak itself may have been a violation of FBI internal codes of conduct which could subject it to investigation by the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility resulting in appropriate action.

But in terms of the severity of this offense when measured against the far more serious allegations (federal crimes) against Comey--such as FISA abuse, lying to the FISA court, presenting unverified "evidence" to obtain a FISA warrant, assuming the authority of an AG in exonerating Hillary Clinton for egregious violations of the Espionage Act--this leak holds about as much water as a traffic violation, or maybe shop lifting a coke and a bag of peanuts.

Pursuing an investigation into this leak and filing formal charges for prosecution would have been a waste of time, money and resources far better used to go after for the jugular of the massive conspiracy to o*******w a p**********l e******n, destroy a president and his administration, and disenfranchise 65 million American v**ers. That jugular has names much higher on the federal food chain than a disgraced former FBI Director.
Here is the sum total of the IG's report against C... (show quote)

In other words Comeys criminal behavior is classified as "just another matter"

I do hope that I'm wrong, and no one will need to prompt me to admit that I was wrong.
