Ted Kennedy Made Secret Overtures to Russia to Prevent Ronald Reagan’s Re-E******n

Sen. Edward “Ted” Kennedy had “selfish political and ideological motives” when he made secret overtures to the Soviet Union’s spy agency during the Cold War to thwart then-President Ronald Reagan’s re-e******n, a Reagan biographer said in an interview with The Daily Signal.
When they came to light years later, Kennedy’s secret contacts with the Russians through their KGB spy agency in the early 1980s didn’t cause nearly the tizzy that Russia’s alleged interference with this year’s e******n has for President-elect Donald Trump among liberal activists and reporters.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, with whom Trump has said he hopes to “get along,” is a former foreign intelligence officer and lieutenant colonel in the KGB.
In the 1980s, Kennedy was “terribly misguided” and “a fool” for seeing Reagan as a greater threat than either the leader of the Soviet Union or the head of its brutal secret police and intelligence agency, political science professor and writer Paul Kengor told The Daily Signal.

The p**********l hopeful’s secret correspondence with the Soviet spy service was first reported Feb. 2, 1992, by the London Times in an article headlined “Teddy, the KGB and the Top Secret File.”
As this reporter wrote in 2010, the story focused on a 1983 document from the spy agency detailing Kennedy’s overtures to top officials in the former Soviet Union. The Massachusetts Democrat had challenged President Jimmy Carter in the 1980 Democratic primaries and was considering the possibility of running again for president.
In a letter addressed to then-Soviet General Secretary Yuri Andropov, dated May 14, 1983, KGB head Viktor Chebrikov explained that Kennedy was eager to “counter the militaristic policies” of Reagan, who defeated Carter as the Republican nominee, and to undermine his prospects for re-e******n in 1984.

Trump was elected because of the g*******t interests and political swamp in Washington bleeding this country of capital and jobs and the fact that our last three Presidents were, at best, truly economic morons. Enough citizens suffering economic misery had enough of this and took a chance on Trump. Make America Great Again simply means stopping the economic bleeding or our economy and people. Any obstruction to balancing trade or securing the southern border is in fact treasonous to the citizens of this country. My M.B.A. is not from Harvard, or Wharton, of Stanford, or Chicago. It is only from the University of Pittsburgh but I was able to use Census Bureau data to show the drastic and dangerous increase in Federal debt caused by the trade deficit. Our exports are being stunted by a 25% overvalued dollar and 17 to 22% VATs at international borders. It is time we charge for converting foreign currency to dollars and hammer these other economies with tariffs to negotiate their border charges down.

Again, Clinton, Bush, and Obama were, at best, economic morons that allowed undisciplined globalism to bleed our economy of trillions of dollars and millions of jobs. They followed the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in burying our economy. To survive in the long run, all national economies have to create as much value as they consume. With only one currency the E.U. is doomed to eventually fall apart as all of the 28 economies have different ratios of value creation and consumption. Brexit is just the start. Capitalism gets blamed for the damage caused by undisciplined globalism and therefore the really stupid call for democratic socialism. Democratic socialism is where the self reliant and industrious are outnumbered by the lazy and envious who progressively k**l all incentives for individual value creation through income redistribution, high taxes, and over regulation so that we share scarcity at the point of a despotic gun.

Disarming the population is the real underlying reason for all of the anti-Second Amendment action being taken by socialist democrats. Low cultural capital because of fatherless black children is the main cause of homicides but democrats don't really believe that black l***s m****r. The r****t democrats only harp on "white supremacism" as a cause instead of the inner city culture that they have created. Democrats on the whole are more corruptible and less honest and this is proven over and over again in all of the big city democrat politicians that wind up in prison. "All lies supporting the cause are not really lies." "V**er I.D. requirements are r****t!" Actually assuming that b****s are not smart enough or capable of having I.D. available for v****g is in fact r****t. The only commodity that democrats really want is power over your life.
