Yes, we of North and South America, are all Americans. Only about a third of Americans live in the United States of America. The USA is only one country in the Americas, like Mexico, Canada, Venezuela, Brazil and the others. Unfortunately, those of the USA have fallen into the habit of calling themselves Americans, instead of United States Americans. When I hear someone saying "I'm an American" I wonder to myself what part of America are they from, and most times I can usually guess from their context that they mean they are from the United States rather than Venezuela or Peru or Argentina. America is a very broad term that covers two continents, where the United States is only one country in North America.

Yes, the "Made in America" label is not the same as the "Made in USA" label! For example, I have a Dodge automobile that is American made, but it was made in Mexico, not in the USA! Such labels can be easily misinterpreted. As far as internal parts go, one would have a terrible time trying to come up with exactly where it really came from because parts are manufactured all over the world, so I elected to go with Mexico, where it was finally assembled, rather than trying to determine where the "majority of its small parts" came from. I guess I'm just to lazy to disassemble the entire vehicle to check it out; it' a very complex world that we live in. It would be difficult to prove whether ANYTHING is totally "Made in USA!" Oh well, that's life, guess I'll just have to learn to live with it. ;<)

I've been through a number of "Government Shutdowns" but never got the "free vacations" because I was always placed on the "Essential Personnel" list. No one that I ever heard of lost any wages even if they were temporarily "furloughed" for a few days. Shutting down the government does absolutely nothing other than put a few departments on a skeleton staff, so they just keep on increasing the national debt; it doesn't even slow them down. The things that stop moving are only those things that will make a direct impact on the public to piss them off, such as closing facilities that the public can visit or slowing some t***sportation services. It is all well planned, and has been being done long before Obama came on the scene. Much of this crap started back when Woodrow Wilson let the Federal Reserve Banking System, a non-Federal business entity (the FED), be established in our country. Congress then gave the FED the authority over our monetary system and relieved themselves of the duty; a big mistake. The government been getting worse ever since.

We certainly do need to get the conservatives in control. They haven't really been in control for a long time. In 2014 we did put more conservatives in the Congress but the "Good Ole Boys Club," the "Establishment," managed to kick the s**t out of the new conservatives coming in just like they always do to intimidate and control them, so nothing changed and conservatives were still not in control. It is the Establishment, the Executive Branch Muslims, and the Socialists, that we must get rid of before anything significant can happen to get the government back on track. The Judicial Branch should also be purged of these "go along to get along" judges who tend to ignore the Constitution and then legislate "popular" laws from the bench for their Socialist buddies. "We the People" can, and are, screaming into deaf ears and have summarily been ignored for decades, and to get government attention may take a more physical approach; I really h**e to see it or even say it, but they ain't seen real trouble yet, but it's acomin'!

Maybe 2016 will be the year, but the microcephalic dumbocrats are very well entrenched and it won't be an easy task to push them out. Require serious pushing, it will!

I don't disagree, but I keep wondering how we will fare when it does. This country has been running on smoke and mirrors for years, and we have been bankrupt for quite a while. It has, and still is, much easier to live on credit by paying just the interest an borrowing more each time. When we do this, the principal of the loan just continues to increase, as does the interest payment, but it is still cheaper and easier to just pay the interest. The thing that allows the government to accomplish this "living beyond our means" is having the worlds reserve currency status. When the dollar does finally collapse, the government won't be able to continue to print money since the dollar won't be worth anything. Who do you think is going to loan a broke country much of anything? The government won't be able to pay their interest and the lenders can call in the collateral, our land and property. The government won't be able to pay pensions, benefits, or anything else, so the whole damned mess hits at the same time. It only takes hungry mobs about three hours to completely strip all the grocery stores, and there won't be any fuel to truck anything in to replace them. It will make the "Great Depression" look like a picnic. That's my opinion, for what it's worth.

You're pretty much on the mark. Many good men have gone into politics and entered Congress with determination and very good ideas and goals, yet by the time the "Good Ole Boys Club<," the Establishment, gets through pressuring them and threatening them if they don't "Go along to get along," rather than do what they know is right, they cave to the pressure and are ruined as to ever being an honest and true Congressman.

One of the worst things that ever happened to the government, democrats or republicans, is the invention of the "career politicians" who are mostly liberal political lawyers who have read and studied the Constitution under some socialist professor in a left-leaning University. To relieve this problem, we need to establish hard term limits, since we know these people will turn into crooks before they leave; if they leave earlier, they won't have as much time to become a polished crook!

Frankly, I can't recall anything in the Constitution or Bill of Rights that authorizes the Congress to fund Planned Parenthood in the first place, so Congress should never have funded them at all. Those in Congress have conveniently forgotten that the Constitution is a limiting document; it limits what the government can do, and prevents them from going rat in a hot tin outhouse crazy like they have done over the last century or so. They think the Constitution is toilet paper and that's what they use it for. The only time they actually quote the Constitution is if, for some shady reason, they can make it further their own agenda. Shame on us for letting them do that; and yes, we do get the government that we deserve since we have become complacent concerning the activities of the government thus allowing these socialists to assume control that they are not authorized to have. It is the "Let George Do It" syndrome coupled with political correctness, which is a piss poor combination that needs to be reconciled sooner rather than later.

Well if the republicans did have someone qualified to be a dog catcher, the dumocrit SOBs would have to scurry under a porch to get away from him. Being qualified for dog catcher is not a prerequisite for holding the office of the President as far as I know, nor is being a lawyer, preacher, doctor, male, female, or politician. Obama proved that even not being a legal citizen of the USA and having verifiable documents is not a requirement. The main requirement is adequate funding and a gift of gab, and both Obama and Trump satisfy these requirements, so why is every l*****t in the country badmouthing Trump?

Obama has proven beyond the shadow of any doubt that this country can survive under a totally inept undocumented Muslim president who h**es this country and the infidels who live here. I'm not a particular fan of Trump, but he is as qualified as anyone else who has ever been elected president. Trump is a little brash at times, but he can certainly unapologetically hold his own with most anyone. Obama would foolishly apologize us into oblivion while on a vacation or playing golf, and Hillary would be so busy covering her butt that she wouldn't have time to govern the country, but Slick Willie could take care of most of her interns!

The first thing we need to do is have the republicans take full control of the government. No, I'm not a republican, but since there are only two parties where v**es even have a chance of counting that is likely where my v**e will land, however until we clear the government of all the "good old boys" of the Establishment (liberal socialists/c*******ts and the RINOs), the government will remain gridlocked and impotent. We need a leader that has a real passion to make this country great once again and a disposition like a junk yard dog when it comes to negotiating with other countries. Trump is a master negotiator, unlike the incompetent Ketchup Kerry, and if you look at what Trump is doing and listen to what he is saying with a business filtered mind, if a liberal even has a mind, you might just come to the conclusion that what he says and the way he says it makes a lot of sense. If l*****ts view him through a socialist/c*******t filter it will literally scare the crap out of them, which is why they continually try to smear him and bring him down - they are very accomplished and determined with their Alinsky tactics and smear agitprop; fear of losing political control is a great motivator to get the l*****ts to screaming bloody murder because of their deep seated fear of losing their super-plush, extremely overpaid, power positions.

The USA does have a number of faults that have been injected by the socialists over the past several decades, but with a little TLC our honest conservative patriots can remedy these faults; now the socialists are even trying to rewrite American History under the Common Core system to brainwash our children. I also know a few that I like very much. However, when the SHTF I would be very nervous if they were behind me. I am afraid that you are correct. That is the way a cancer works, it begins as a small cell and continues to grow until it is forcibly contained, or k**led off.
