I would call it packing it with judges that believe in the Constitution, and do not want to re-write it to suit their own fancy. RBG may have been a good judge, but over the years she got more and more liberal, and to show you how much she seemed to REALLY care about our Constitution, she should have retired a long time ago, but she h**ed Trump so much that she refused to retire as long as he was president. Wonder what she would have done if and when he gets re-elected? Judge Barrett will bring a breath of fresh air to the court, and will uphold our Constitution as written, and not try to re-write it!

I think you'd see a complete take over, one that would make Obamacare look like child's play. No store would be open because of nothing being delivered, no schools opened, no one would work.

We'd be looking at a countrywide shutdown so the i***t Democrats could implement their stupid ideas; such as, universal income, paid for by taxpayers, govt. housing. In the suburbs. Suspension of individual rights under medical/security guidelines.

How does one think Biden would handle this?

JFlorio wrote:
That is 100% true. Look at the ridiculous, draconian rules democrat governors have implemented. How you can eat Thanksgiving Dinner under California Governor guide lines as an example.

Trump has nothing to do with, it's a state function that Ca has mismanaged since I was a kid. My cousin bought a house when I was in my 20's, basically in the woods and he asked the state to thin the trees and they did while I was there on vacation. Three days at 6 AM, night and day, all downed trees gone, all brush gone and you could see for at least a mile.

The mismanagement of the US forests was going on in the 1970's and before but I remember talking to a National Park Ranger in Yosemite at that time about it. Lot of the other tourists that couldn't see the trees crowding each other in stunted growth or the beetle infected trees. That is so far removed from Trump that for anyone to even say Trumps is responsible is one who should go back to school. Trump wasn't President 50 years ago when forest stupid management was becoming well established.

They aren't moderators, their political mouth pieces for the democratic party, that it why I'll skip it, maybe I'll pull a CNN.

For the tax rate they charge they should have a 1st rate forestry service, that includes a fleet of water bombers, they don't, yet they know full well water bombers are needed. Instead they start this program or that and then poorly fund them. Fires are a yearly thing out there, how much money did they waste on that bullet train, billions and then they pulled the plug on it.

You may well be correct that forest fires in California and other places out West have been a problem for years. But to say the current government leaders should not be held accountable for their leadership on this issue seems misguided. They budget the funds and direct resources that for example could be used for forest management or welfare. I bring this up only because of a headline I read this morning - "
California City Begins Handing Out Free Cash To "Address Inequalities For Black People" https://www.zerohedge.com/political/california-city-begins-handing-out-free-cash-address-inequalities-black-people

Isn't that why we elect people in government to do the things that we as ordinary citizens are unable to do?
