This is the sort of thing that happens when Democrats control a state.

How many reasons do we need to be given before we realize that California is not a great place to live?

Sure, there are beaches, the scenery is nice, there’s a lot to do, but the way that the law is in California is MORE than enough reason to never ever move there. I don’t care if someone offered me a million dollars to move to California. I would turn it down without thinking twice about it. Besides, a million dollars there doesn’t get you very far thanks to their extremely high cost of living.

But imagine this situation: a couple buys a home and get ready to move in, but the former owner doesn’t want to leave and guess what…because you live in California, you can’t evict them. That’s exactly what is happening to a couple in Riverside, CA.

When Tracie and Myles Albert purchased a beautiful four-bedroom house in Riverside, California they never realized that at the end of escrow the seller would suddenly refuse to give up the keys and leave.

“We own the house, outright. That’s our house and it’s all in a contract, written, legal, done. He’s been paid the money in his account. How could we have no rights to go into our home,” asked Myles.

Taylor says, “It’s genuinely unfathomable to me that we live in a state where something like this is even possible. They closed escrow on this home January 31, 2020.” The Alberts and Taylor have contacted authorities and tried to get the seller evicted but because of the p******c, they’ve gotten nowhere.

“They have this case under a C***D tenant situation, of no evictions when it doesn’t fall under that at all. This t***saction went through in January 2020 before any of that, it isn’t a renter who was getting thrown out. It’s the guy who collected all of this money,” stated Myles.

As the attorney mentioned, they have no grounds to stay in the house that they sold because they are not tenants. There is no rental agreement. They are simply the former owner.

But I’m sure that California being the trash hole that it is will be in favor of the owner who basically stole their money and is deciding not to move out. No compassion for those who do right, only approval of those who do wrong.

Poll: 42 Million From Latin America, Caribbean Want to Migrate to US

A new survey found that 42 million people from Latin America and the Caribbean region want to immigrate to the United States.

“There are 33 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Roughly 450 million adults live in the region. Gallup asked them if they would like to move to another country permanently if they could,” said Gallup CEO Jim Clifton, whose company conducted the poll, in an article on March 24. “A whopping 27 [percent] said ‘yes.’ This means roughly 120 million would like to migrate somewhere.

“Of those who want to leave their country permanently, 35 percent—or 42 million—said they want to go to the United States.”

The poll comes as a surge of i*****l i*******ts have attempted to cross the U.S.–Mexico border in recent weeks; White House officials have advised the people that the border is closed and not to come.

This week, a Democratic congressman whose district lies along the border released striking images showing children in cramped quarters and sleeping on the ground in a runoff facility operated by Border Patrol in Donna, Texas. The following day, the Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released photos showing long lines to the bathroom, children sleeping in fenced-off areas, and small children in play areas.

Some reporters have accused the White House of a lack of t***sparency over the border facilities, with some pointing out that the media wasn’t denied access during the Trump, Obama, or Bush administrations.

Other polls have suggested that Americans increasingly disapprove of how President Joe Biden is dealing with the border situation. A Reuters/Ipsos poll released last week found that only 41 percent of Americans support Biden’s handling of immigration, while 45 percent don’t support how the issue is being handled.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and other White House officials have said former President Donald Trump’s immigration policies are the reason for the surge in migration and how children are being housed. But Republicans have said that it’s because Biden rescinded several of Trump’s key immigration policies.

“I’ve been to border facilities under the Obama admin and Trump admin. The media was always allowed to join us. It is only the Biden administration that has engaged in a media blackout,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) wrote on Twitter on March 23.

During his four years as president, Donald Trump made it abundantly clear that he did not consider Russian President Vladimir Putin an adversary of the United States. But President Joe Biden, during his two months in the White House, has been much tougher on Putin — and journalist Steven Beschloss, in a scathing March 22 article for his America, America blog, calls out Fox News' Sean Hannity, Rep. Matt Gaetz and other Republicans he believes have become Putin's useful i***ts during the Biden era.

Gaetz, during a recent appearance on Hannity's show, told the Fox News host, "Putin and Biden, it would not end like 'Rocky IV.' I don't think the American would prevail." And Hannity joked that Putin would have the upper hand in a debate with the U.S. president.

Beschloss explains, "After four years of never a negative word about Putin from Trump — not after the interference in our e******n, not after the k*****gs of Russian journalists and political opponents in Russia and on foreign soil, not after it was revealed the Russians put bounties on American soldiers — this cute interplay may have sounded like no big deal. Just more fun and games from among the same bunch who've perpetrated the Big Lie of e******n f***d and are determined to gloss over and move on from the deadly i**********n…. But make no mistake: The continuing adoration of Putin represents the embrace of autocracy over democracy — indeed, the dark desire to learn from the anti-democratic tactics of a murderous autocrat."

Although the Hannity/Gaetz exchange passes for comedy at Fox News (and only Fox News), Beschloss argues that on the United States' far right, Putin is viewed as a symbol of strength. Pro-Trump Republicans, according to Beschloss, are "proffering a clear message that they prefer a leader like Putin, one who employs assassination as a frequent tool to hold onto power over one who believes in values like e******y and the right of every citizen to v**e."

"It doesn't matter that Putin-obedient Trump has been evicted from our house," Beschloss writes. "In fact, rather than insist it's still Trump's party, rule in exile from Mar-a-Lago, it might be more accurate to say the GOP has morphed into the anti-democratic Putin Party."

Beschloss goes on to describe Putin's history, noting that Putin was 23 when he became a KGB agent in 1975. The Soviet Union ceased to exist in the early 1990s, and these days, Putin is far from a c*******t — instead, he is a right-wing authoritarian and a crony capitalist. And pro-Trump Republicans, according to Beschloss, respect and admire that authoritarianism.

"If the current configuration of the Republican Party continues on its present path, they will keep sowing doubt about the country they swore an oath to protect while looking fondly at the strongman in the Kremlin," Beschloss writes. "Time will tell if they've done it more for love or money, but in either case, we'll have that much more work to repair the damage to our democracy that they have wrought."
