You blame Trump for the problem and lack of doing something. What did Obama do? Beyond background checks, there’s not a whole lot that can be done without becoming a police state and not allowing anyone a gun permit. Trump is advocating for more on mental illness checks, which is a reasonable place to start in my opinion since most people that do these mass shootings are indeed mentally ill.
