Gas prices are a reflection of the demand anticipated by the oil industry. Those companies are 100% profit motivated and have no national affiliation. Neither the federal government nor the president have any say in the matter. If the amount of cash that you have in your pocket is a direct function of gasoline prices then your problems go deeper than you lack of gasoline marketing knowledge.
