There's been a lot of debate about Christians being involved in politics and the role their faith should play in v****g and policymaking, but no one is asking the really important question: should Christians even v**e at all?

The Babylon Bee has put together the following list of reasons why a Christian should never v**e:

Separation of church and state: Duh! It's in the Constitution! If Christians are the Church, they have to be separated from the state.

There is no record in the Bible of Jesus v****g: Aren't you supposed to be like Jesus?

Our home is in Heaven, not here: You should never make any effort to make a difference here on Earth.

David French might call you a Christian Nationalist: There is no more devastating slur.

V****g for a flawed human being will completely destroy your witness: If a candidate posts mean things on social media, a Christian can't v**e for him. That's in the Bible.

The 15 minutes you spent v****g could have been spent handing out Chick tracts: Priorities, brothers and sisters.

There is no v****g in a theocracy: Your only leader is God.

You should just be washing the feet of all the people in line to v**e: Stop wasting your time v****g and let everyone else know that "He Gets Us."

The winners are predestined anyway: God has already divinely chosen which totally depraved wretches will be in power.

See? Cold, hard proof of why Christians should never v**e. If you claim to be a follower of Jesus and have v**ed… pray, ask for forgiveness, and start minding your own business like you're supposed to.

Realizing that linear thinking and logic are fading fast in America, I can't help but raise this question once again: if liberals are so concerned about gun violence, why do they oppose tough measures to stop it?

The problem is horrifying; you can't even have a Super Bowl celebration without a mass shooting. School kids gunned down, shoppers at malls in danger, criminal gang members shooting up neighborhoods.

But when I suggest making all gun crimes federal crimes with harsh mandatory prison sentences upon conviction, the left and even some conservatives will not support the solution.

So here's a reality check. The Second Amendment allows law-abiding citizens to protect themselves with firearms. That is not going to change, and individual states should pass public safety laws that provide as much protection as possible from gun-toting criminals.

But with about 300 million guns in circulation, bans will not work; only tough punishment will.

Sell an illegal gun, five years minimum. Carry an illegal gun, three years. Fire one, ten years. First offense, no parole.

How about getting behind that, Joe Biden?

He won't. The left wants a phony gun ban, not accountability.

Pop star Taylor Swift is threatening to sue a college student who runs a blog that revealed the carbon footprint of Swift's private jet in the 2 weeks before the Super Bowl. It seems Ms "C*****e C****e is Horrible" has a bigger carbon footprint in 2 weeks than the average US family does in 2 years. Swift claims this broke college kid who published facts available to the general public caused her "irreparable harm" and made her "fear for her safety." Rules for thee but not for me, anyone?
Nice to know there is still a celebrity/media darling who doesn't have an overgrown, self-centered ego. I mean, she has every right to be afraid that some college kid can get past her multiple layers of highly paid professional security people by publishing publicly available facts.
