After reading some of the comments on other postÂ’s from some on OPP, I need to ask this question.
Am I a R****t because I believe
In fair and equal treatment for all?
That no one deserves special treatment because of race, g****r or religion?
Discrimination is wrong in every form ( affirmative action, special treatment)?
Common courtesy and respect is required and expected from all and given to all?
A person should keep their word?
That all people should obey the laws of the land?
Honest answers are welcomed and appreciated.
As Obama noted at the end of his remarks about the Ferguson decision, "these are real issues. And we have to lift them up and not deny them or try to tamp them down. What we need to do is understand them and figure out how do we make more progress. And that can be done."
Yes It Can. R****m is still alive in America. Some White towards B****s, but the majority is Black towards W****s. If enforcement of h**e crimes was equally enforced that would be a start. If common courtesy and respect was given, it would given in return. Personal responsibility for ones actions and finding out the facts before over reacting would be a GREAT start. WE all can do better when It comes to treating others as equals.

Welcome! I just joined today and I can already see where the battle lines are drawn. I agree with you on the lack of GOD in our society.

Yes. I will inject Jesus into everything anytime I can. God, Jesus and your choice to come to earth is the reason you are here. The word is to be shared not kept to ourselves. We might disagree but I will always show you the respect and common courtesy you deserve.

I have been reading OPP for awhile now and have decided to add my 2 cents worth instead of talking to my computer. I am sure that I will make some friends here and some not friends that totally disagree with my positions and ideas.
The main reasons for the decline of our GREAT country is the lack of common courtesy, respect for ourselves and others, morals and common sense. It boils down to the lack of GOD in our lives,country and following the teachings of Jesus Christ.
I hope to have some lively discussions here.
