I guess socialist Sanders won't need to then either. Unless he has something to hide? Trump has a lot of baggage and if he lets the cat out of the bag with his tax returns, he know he may as well say, "F*getaboutit" for president. Romney keeps hounding and the liberal media won't let it go.

I don't blame Trump. It is no ones business, unless you are willing to assert some suspicion of illegality. You elect him --- you have a right to know. On the other hand, it seems that the Bill or Hillary can panhandle via foundations, misuse the assets, and liberals seem to think that's ok.......

it's a decent try anyways but most conservatives see how wealth and power are hand-in-hand and when a woman is approached by a lawyer they both see how those "atrocities that occurred many years ago" are now opening old wounds with the rise of that man's power. I won't be surprised same happens to Trump now.

Works great. I worry it could be a problem later. We'll see if it holds up to Main Street. Trump breaks all rules but I still worry folks will wonder why the elite can hire tax lawyers to get out of taxes, how is that not why America is not great anymore?

I can't believe it but it is true. Obama has reversed course from history and has reaped benefits no one has ever been able to achieve. Credit where credit due. But time will tell whether or not it will remain as Obama has benefited US citizens. I think it will likely remain for the next one to two decades and then, it will be time once again to go back to the pre-Obama foreign policy. Everything is cyclical and credit Obama for the guts to see where it was overdue for a policy shift. It don't look like either Trump or Hillary will be reversing the Obama policy and I don't blame them.

in a hypothetical scenario of a hypothetical law that hypothetically outlaws a******n, there would be a hypothetical penalty for the mom, if and only if, the mom was hypothetically caught with hypothetical proof and the hypothetical mom could attest that she believed the hypothetical fetus had a hypothetical soul, hypothetically speaking.

Every time that has been pointed out about how he only has the minority of the GOP, he continues to win with that minority.

Every time there has been a controversy in his campaign, it works in his favor and he gets more publicity and it hardens his supporters.

In normal circumstances, I'd say your analysis of the situation is right but these are extraordinary times. I think Trump could win the nomination and get elected too.

Even if not, we may see more campaigns cloned after Trump and Sanders

It's not as popular as you think...just in the primaries...and remember, more Republicans have v**ed against Trump than for him....just total all the v**es in the Republican primary....he is minus around 6 million v**es....that's what happens when you have 17 candidates ......so, actually, he's not even popular with Republicans.....and now his campaign manager gets charged and arrested...it's like watching a train wreck

I always said, the only one who can stop Trump (or any populist) is Trump himself.

Many have wondered if his whole interest was to stop a GOP presidency.

You should take a harder look at Trump's success, observe and learn. Same for Sanders success.

This is not going to be about who is the most moderate and establishment candidate rather, both parties are being pulled to far side.

Each candidate is going to promote how anti-establishment they really are and how they will shake-up the "system". It's the popular thing to do.

Well, I appreciate your enthusiasm and optimism on Trump...but I'm telling you...he will NEVER be President.....did you hear his interview with the conservative radio host in Wisconsin??...the guy tore him up...and his interviews with the Washington Post and NY times was embarrassing.....it will all start to come out....I'm starting to think he won't even be the Republican candidate...I just don't think the GOP will allow it....and they can stop him....you'll see...Trump will never see the White House, other then as a guest

And who told you that the words are the inspired writings of the Holy Spirit - - a man?

Why didn't Jesus write any scripture when he was here on earth?

mwdegutis wrote:
And why should I believe you, you're just a man?

It was not the opinion of Paul but the "opinion" of the Holy Spirit who inspired his writings, just as the rest of the bible. Like I tell many others, you're free to believe what you want to believe but I believe the inerrant Word of God.

And by the way, I don't worship Jesus' words, I worship Him.

So says the opinion of Paul to the Ephesians. Remember, Peter and Jude and others disagreed with Paul. The letter was written by a man, Paul. It was not written by God, Jesus.

Always keep in mind that Jesus wrote no word of the Bible. I think that is the most important teaching of all...there was nothing so important that Jesus needed to write it down for us to have and worship as His words.

mwdegutis wrote:
Maybe you should bone up on the bible. Works will NOT get you into Heaven...

"God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:8-10

It is more complicated than that. He has resources he has not needed to use yet, on both accords. With Hispanics, he has a treasure trove of legal immigrants who will attest to their allegiance because they had to "wait in line" while others "gyp the line" that is not fair. That is one way he can play the populist argument.

You have to understand the populist thinking here.

The sentiment is volatile. Having his wife and ex-wives and women business owners and others that he can control, attest to him and passionately persuade women that he can make their lives better than they've ever seen...it's a populist phenomena.

He knows this better than anyone.

I just don't understand why he wants it. It is a very difficult job to have. It will be a step-down from the lifestyle he currently has. Living in the White House and the p**********l schedule and the 3am phone calls. Does he think he is going to appoint assistants to take those phone calls and sit-in on those meetings?

Maybe he will just spend most of his time at his Florida mansion and depend on his cabinet appointees to do all the work? Then, if there is an unpopular decision/sentiment, he will simply say, "you're fired" to the appointee, apologize to the public and then hype up how good America is now that he is president.

Anigav6969 wrote:
The problem is that everything he is saying now will be played on TV constantly....they will not let the public forget......to think that Latinos in a few months will all of a sudden say " hey !...you know what ?....we were wrong about this guy ".....is unrealistic....he has a 70% unfavorable rating with women....that's just not goin away....they will constantly be reminded of his comments.....that's why the Republicans keep losing the general e******n....they pick the wrong candidate

It does not make logical sense because if there is such a thing as sin, why would there be an exception that wipes it all away? If sin is a way to make things fair in an afterlife for those that are better than others, then why should there be a way to take away the fairness and just let everyone be treated the same in the afterlife? It doesn't make sense.

I think it is less about sin and more about choice.

If you obey, submit, serve, are selfless and basically think of others before yourself, then you will see everlasting life despite your belief in Jesus. But if you treasure being independent, giving orders, disobeying and are selfish and basically think of your own interests before others, then you will not experience everlasting life despite your belief in Jesus.

It's way too soon yet to rely on polls.

Trump has a way of morphing. Remember, he was a guy who said he was aligned with the democratic party; who recently called GWB a liar; who said Sen McCain is not a war hero...and he is the GOP lead nominee.

Underestimating Trump seems to be everyone's demise.

He could win the nomination and then, he can wrap himself in an American f**g and reach out to liberals with policies that rival either Clinton or Sanders. All while keeping the GOP base.

Anigav6969 wrote:
" another liberal President "??....Obama just hit 53% approval rating...he would get elected again if he could run.....Hillary beats Trump in every poll...from FOX to CNN....why do you folks fool yourselves ?......it just makes no sense to deny reality....the Republican Party knows he will lose....why don't you ?

Trump can unify the GOP - - not completely - - just enough to win.

He will have to make the case that he is much better than Hillary or Bernie and would they rather have another liberal president to deal?

The Republicans have really screwed themselves...they know Trump will get demolished in the general....not even half of the Republicans are v****g for him now in the primary....if he gets put aside by someone like Cruz, many Trump chumps will stay home....and what does that get us ???.....Madam President...

I think this is a likely scenario.....I'm sure there will be nothing but attacks here....that will just prove that I'm most likely correct.....it will be interesting to see if anyone can actually discuss this..

Trump will stimulate a large public interest in the general e******n that otherwise would be a sleeper. If he wins well, a lot of what he says he'll do will end up getting tied up in the courts and costing a lot of money. That's basically his past and present modus operandi so, why would it be any different?

How low can we go? We found it! Terrorists groups around the world would welcome a Trump presidency. Why? Recruitment and hostility is already up from the day he asked for a temporary ban on Muslims coming to America. And he has put the US in the cross-hairs with his irresponsible, self-aggrandizing rhetoric. That is terrible, but far, far worse is how he makes this republic look to the world: intolerant, h**eful, and very small. The Statue of Liberty is under a gag-order by Trump. "Stop the liberal drivel!" Trump screams at her. "Shut your stupid feminist trap! Keep a lid on your hormones, b***h! You are worse than Megyn Kelly."

If that happens, then America will learn the hard way and will come to it's senses afterwards and faster than continuing to support the establishment GOP.

I hope you guys understand what you are getting into by hitching your wagon to Trump. It ain't looking good. How about standing for American principles rather than progressive populism. Considering the establishment GOP "stop Trump" campaign (contested or brokered convention) and an independent movement to put up a third party candidate, Trumps odds of getting the nomination are falling rapidly. This very well could guarantee a Hillary win.
