My cats eat plants all the time. Sometimes they get sick. You should check with your vet about poisonous plants.

Cats will eat grass for the express purpose of vomiting in order to bring up hair balls. The plants I did investigate that are poisonous to cats are primarily decorative indoor plants such as diefenbachia. It is a large-leafed plant. In my experience cats stay away from those with large leafs.

Don't be sad Alecia. I live near Amarillo, and we have a stiff North wind going now. Fresh dirt coming your way! I'm sure you'll send it back in a day or two when the wind shifts!

A friend who lives here stated that each year this area is open to at least a dozen new weeds. I have observed strange plants in my back yard that I have never seen before. Some of them are pretty. It makes me wonder if that might be the reason that, since moving to the SW, none of my cats have lived to even 4 years. I should note that the original breed came from the NE where they lived to at least 10.) I have never been prone to allergies but, since relocating, I am bothered with a post-nasal drip I don't seem to be able to kick. It also should be noted that Lubbock is surrounded by flats of nothingness. I used to style my hair before leaving the house everyday but have discovered that, regardless of the care I take, within 10 minutes I look as if I just got out of bed. It might not bother you men vutI've noticed that women here don't bother to style their hair.

You're wrong. One person in particular has stated that exact sentiment. That individual does come through specifically to visit with me.

Have you visited Lubbock? Until you do, don't form conclusions.

where are you in Texas?
admittedly there are some parts I would want out of too
like Austin,Dallas and Houston
sadly I'm in Humble(suburb of Houston)and I'm stuck here

Sadly I'm residing in Lubbock. I have friends in Texas who ardently avoid this berg stating they wish not to even visit family here. It is a nothing town and I chose it only because it was closest to Carlsbad, NM and 10 times larger. Thinking the size would take care of the employment, I didn't do any research prior to relocating. My mistake.

And like the good liberal bigot you are, you know that anything that comes out of the South is tainted. You also a very independent minded person. Everyone you know is also very independent minded. They think just like you do.

I believe you are confused. How can liberal, independent thinkers think "just like" anyone else? That seems to be the habit of non-liberals.

And greedy capitalism? You claim your location to by NYC which is the heart of greedy capitalism. But you live in Texas..........strange.

My relocation to Texas was the greatest mistake I've ever made. The reason I'm still here? I can't get enough money to get the hell out! Any donations would be greatly appreciated. It will be a way for those of you who wish to get rid of me.

silencing the "progressives" so they do not spread their evil lies is not the appropriate response, nor is it effective. What we must do, instead, is make sure that the Marxist socialists do not run the school system, from grade school on. Remember that Marx said that to control a society we must start with small children, forcing parents to send their children to be indoctrination by people trained in indoctrination. The evidence of effective results by that method can be best shown by North Korea where children are removed from the home and put into indoctrination centers when they are two years old and allowed to see their parents only in controlled situations until they are at least eight years old and therefore fully reprogrammed to be good little c*******t servants of the state. The Muslims use the same techniques to turn their two year old children into soldiers for the religion of peace by k*****g off all those who disagree.

Isn't there some passage in the bible that states "give me the children until age seven and I will give you the man." Hitler was a good Catholic and this is what he based his success upon. For those who do not have this knowledge, Hitler's birthday was celebrated in masses in the Roman Catholic church which backed him.

I read that information a while back. Texas owns the decision regarding which textbooks are published because they purchase most of them. It boils down to greedy capitalism. Since that state purchases more textbooks than any other state, due to its size, it has come to dictate what is in them.

[quote=teaman]Well, let's see, is K**lery the Witch or K**lery the B***h.....I think both sums it up!!!

Hillary Clinton appeared as a guest speaker at a witch’s coven in New York City on April 3, 2018 and was awarded a lifetime membership in the coven, known as “The Wing.” While this might sound like “f**e news” details on Hillary’s night out with a room full of occult-practicing feminist witches appeared in several news publications and we checked it out.

This is not information coming from a Russian bot on Twitter or a questionable piece of journalism on an amateur site. Hillary Clinton attended a coven of witches right out in the open and it was covered by a “mainstream media” magazine in New York.

For openers, Wiccans DO NOT worship Satan. That refers to only those groups called Satanists. Each tradition of Wicca has its own gods or goddesses which they refer to. There are traditions all over Europe including Celtics and those in Italy. I still maintain correspondence with a coven in NYC. In that coven there were those who kept not only a statue of The Lady but also pictures of Jesus. Wiccans (or Witches, to you) are a peaceful group. Yes, they are capable of negativity but are early warned that any negativity will return back either 3- or 10-fold. This also applies to the good thoughts. As a rule, difficulties are overcome with work toward the good - for both sides.

Once. a member complained that a female in his neighborhood was spreading word that he was a warlock Our solution was that the girl be offered a great job - in another city. A win-win situation. It's too bad (or sad) that you non-Wiccans don't think in those terms.
Besides, both male and female in the Wiccan tradition are referred to as witches. The word Warlock is a Christian term.

From my observations, Christians are the only group who constantly are recruiting. As can be noted from the last census, more Christians are leaving their faith, preferring to answer "not attached" to that question. I wonder why. Do you think there is more negativity in that faith?

Former AG Issues Massive Comey Announcement… Now Jail Time on the Table
https://www.westernjournal.com/ct/author/benjamin-dekraker/?ff_source=push

Former FBI Director James Comey may have just been hoisted by his own petard.

It looks increasingly likely that the now-fired director tried to use internal memos of meetings and conversations with Donald Trump to undermine the president, but those very memos are now making Comey look like the guilty one.

That’s certainly the view of former U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey. He served in that respected position during the final years of the George W. Bush era, and knows a thing or two about the legality of classified information.

During a Friday appearance on Laura Ingraham’s program, the former attorney general pointed out that by leaking memos during his time in office, Comey may have done something highly illegal: Break the rules regarding classified documents.

https://youtu.be/x7RuGIWpQH4

“I think we ought to put to rest something one of your guests said in the last segment about how well the memos weren’t marked classified at the time,” Mukasey told Ingraham.

“They were classified as soon as he wrote them,” the legal expert explained. In simple terms, it didn’t matter whether or not Comey’s memos were marked as secret; they were classified as such automatically.

Mukasey used an example of his own time as attorney general to illustrate the point....

Comey has stated that he brought his book script to have the FBI review it to make sure that there was nothing classified within it. It was passed as containing only classified info.
