Yes I would. But first I would ask for a truce, a parley. I would listen to an opposing opinion with respect. Would hope for the same for my opinion. Talk about the issue and maybe come to a solution. Work together to build the bond that at the end of the day we are all Americans. One of my sisters kinda got on to our Mother about something she had said to someone that was being demeaning to our family. Mom told her I'm 83 years old, I've earned the right to speak my mind and will only do it when I know I'm right. That's where I'm at. Go Mom. Been through two wars, I've earned the right to speak my conventions. Her statement gave me the strength to voice my opinions. Will always stay true to my roots. God, Country and Family.

My problem is that the opioids simply stopped working so the clinics next step was going to be an implant that I had two doctors tell me wouldn't work with my type of pain. Instead I'm going to try a by-pass around a blockage in the lower part of my aorta where it branches into my legs. They think the increased blood flow will help. I'm not holding out hope and if not I'm resiugned to making a go with what I have now. I have one more appointment at the pain clinic an that is just so I can tell them to flip off...

And I've got news for you Pete...based on the way things are going I'm willing to say we have much less than 20 years. But just think, 20 more years and then your off to nothingness. That's one helluva thing to look forward to. Me personally, I'm REALLY looking forward to spending ETERNITY in my perfect and glorified body with my Lord and Savior and my brothers and sisters in Christ, many of whom you mock and ridicule on OPP.
