Civilization Versus the New Nihilists
Leave a Comment / December 14, 2023
Nihilism is the religion of the Left. Anarchy is now at the core of the new Democratic Party.

If the Left wished radically to alter the demography of the U.S., it could have expanded legal immigration through legislation or the courts.

Instead, it simply erased the border and dynamited federal i*********n l*w.

By fiat, nihilists ended the wall, and stopped detaining and deporting i*****l a***ns altogether.

Or was it worse than that when candidate Joe Biden in September 2019 urged would-be i*****l a***ns to “surge” the border?

As a result, through laxity and entitlement incentives, eight-million illegal entrants have swarmed the southern border under the Biden administration.

They are swamping border towns, bankrupting big-city budgets, and infuriating even Democratic constituencies.

The same nihilism applies to crime.

In the old days liberals gave light sentences to criminals or reduced bail. But today l*****t prosecutors do not even seek bail. They hardly prosecute theft or random assaults.

Criminals are arrested and released the same day. Is the nihilist plan to destroy the entire body of American jurisprudence, and to ensure “equity” in being victimized?

Is the woke idea that all Americans—inclusive of diverse Beverly Hills elites, Hollywood celebrities, or members of Congress alike—must share victim equity, and thus experience first-hand street robbery, car-jacking, smash-and-grab, and home invasion?

The United States can produce annually more natural gas and oil than any nation on earth. It once pioneered nuclear power. It has vast coal reserves and sophisticated hydroelectric plants.

The old idea was to use these unmatched resources to t***sition gradually to other cleaner fuels such as hydrogen, fusion power, solar, and wind. That way consumers would still enjoy affordable energy. And the United States could remain independent of coercion by the oil-producing Middle East.

But that was not the nihilist way.

Instead, the left deliberately cut back on pipelines, new energy leases, and fracking. It bragged of an upcoming ban on f****l f**ls. In drought-stricken, energy-short California, the state is blowing up, not building new dams.

Is the nihilist agenda to punish with bankrupcy the energy-using middle class?

Is the hope that Americans will have to beg the Saudis, Iranians, Venezuelans, and Russians to pump more of the h**ed goo for our benefit so we would not have to dirty ourselves helping ourselves?

When Joe Biden entered office in January 2021 the U.S. was naturally rebounding from more than a year of C***d-enforced lockdowns.

Overtaxed supply chains were still fragile. Pent-up demand was soaring. Consumers were flush with government cash. Trillions of dollars had been printed and infused into the economy to ward off a feared recession.

All economists advised not to increase the deficit, spike further consumer demand, and expand entitlements.

Instead the Left did just the opposite.

Four-trillion dollars were printed and distributed. In no time, Americans, recovering from C***d, next experienced the worst, but entirely preventable, inflation in 40 years.

Three years later prices on staples remain 30-40 percent higher than when Biden took office. Mortgage rates tripled.

Abroad the nihilism is even more inexplicable and terrifying.

All nations suffer military setbacks. But none in memory have shamefully hightailed out of a theater as we did from Afghanistan.

Few countries could even imagine discarding billions of dollars of weapons and hardware into the hands of the terrorist Taliban, or abandoning a $1 billion new embassy, and a huge, remodeled air base.

Why did the administration simply allow a huge Chinese spy balloon to float and photograph leisurely over the continental U.S.?

Naïve countries might endure two or three attacks on their overseas bases without serious retaliation. But how could the U.S. military permit 135 rocket barrages by Iranian-supplied terrorists on American soldiers without a major and sustained response?

Is the point to humiliate our own troops? To destroy what is left of U.S. deterrence?

Popular culture is especially captive to l*****t nihilism.

It is not enough to object to a statue or artwork. Instead, without deliberation or public input, they must be defaced or destroyed, all the better stealthily and by night.

After the massacres of October 7—but well before Israel had even responded to the barbaric invasion—thousands of students swarmed their elite universities cheering on the violence.

And what so exhilarated them?

The nihilist, ghoulish beheading, torture, m********n, mass rape, dismemberment, and necrophilia of unarmed, civilian Israeli elderly, women, children, and infants.

In sum, we are witnessing an epidemic of l*****t nihilism similar to the 16th-century European mad wave of iconoclastic destruction of religious art.

Or is the better parallel the suicidal insanity that Mao Zedong unleashed during his cultural revolution of the 1960s?

The old politics of right versus left, and Republican opposed to Democrat have now given way to a new existential struggle: Americans must choose between civilization—or its destroyers.

The government is tracking you.

Here’s HOW they do it and WHY you should care.

@NaomiBrockwellTV has a popular YouTube channel where she points out that the government constantly spies on us, using data that apps collect via our phones.

But these apps “make my life easier,” I push back,“Convenience matters!”

“But privacy is important,” explains Brockwell. "The government is purchasing all this data about us. They’re creating records about all of us, and that's a really scary thing.”

"That data is forever … You have no control over what societal norms might change in the next 10 years and that data suddenly becomes incriminating. You're basically making a bet that you and the people with the guns will always stay on good terms.”

In my video above, she explains why that’s not a good bet to make.

Is The Revival Of The Dumb Phone The Solution To Our Tech Addiction Woes?
BY: JORDAN BOYD
DECEMBER 14, 2023
6 MIN READ
Flip and feature phones are often deemed a ‘product of the past,’ but could they be the future of ditching tech addiction?

Mobile phones were designed as a tool to keep humans informed and connected, but the rise of the smartphone over the last three decades means the technology that was designed to serve us ended up controlling many.

Current data suggests the average U.S. adult spends more than seven hours a day staring at a handheld screen.

Americans know there’s only so much “do not disturb” can do against algorithms crafted to create dopamine hits. This is why they are turning to so-called “dumb phones,” devices stripped of all the unnecessary bells and whistles associated with smartphones.

Flip and feature phones are often deemed “products of the past,” but could they be the future for people looking to ditch their technology addictions?

Digital Detox
Dumb phones aren’t always cheap or aesthetically appealing, but they do offer myriad benefits for people seeking to simplify their lives.

Investing in high-quality basic phones takes the pressure off of consumers to keep up with the new iPhones Apple keeps adding to its 40-something iterations. It also gives users a chance to distance themselves from the increasingly apparent negative effects and addictions that come with chronic technology use.

Some are returning to the iconic flip phones that dominated the 2000s. Nokia phone maker HMD Global reported a spike in global and U.S. flip phone sales in 2022. Millennials and Gen Z’s specific interest in the relic is boosting “a once fading and undervalued phone market.”

“I think I can tell the difference in like, the little things with social media, the way I listen and, honestly, like my memory. I feel like, I don’t know, like it makes my attention span shorter,” 20-year-old Mia Robertson, daughter of “Duck Dynasty” star Jase Robertson, explained on the “WHOA That’s Good Podcast” last week after admitting she’s switching from an iPhone to a flip phone.

Others are giving a chance to the new companies touting minimalist mobile phones that are specifically designed to reduce distractions, “be used as little as possible,” and increase security and privacy. The Light Phone, which features a “paper screen” designed to minimize users’ exposure to the blue light known to strain eyes and hurt healthy sleep patterns, reported its sales grew 50 percent from 2021 to 2022.

Light Phone’s pitch is that its device will “never have social media, clickbait news, email, an internet browser, or any other anxiety-inducing infinite feed.” Contrast that with reports that smartphones are ruining people’s lives and that their producers, notably Google and Apple, share data collected from smartphone users’ push notifications with the federal government, and the revival of the clunky, dumb phone seems, well, less dumb.

The subreddit r/dumbphones is home to tens of thousands of members who trade success stories about their decisions to ditch the tiny computer in their pockets for a more rudimentary alternative.

One user, who pays tribute to the famous phone-destroying libertarian character on “Parks and Recreation” in his username, listed several pros he discovered after switching to a basic phone.

No push notifications led to “increased focus,” “reduced anxiety,” and “better time management.” The lack of social media access also prompted him to cultivate physical friendships instead of online ones and avoid the doomscroll cycle that comes with constantly consuming news media.

The only cons he listed were difficulty navigating big or new cities without the aid of a built-in GPS and no access to “cashless” payment methods. Both of those, he reasoned, are minor inconveniences that can be quickly remedied with supplemental tools.

Other users complained that certain dumb phone products lack SMS encryption, don’t have decent cameras, and rely on buggy models that haven’t been around long enough to reach perfection. The tradeoff for many, however, seems to be well worth it.

Child’s Play
Modified phones aren’t just useful for adults. They are quickly becoming parents’ choice to safely and securely communicate with their kids.

To promote their products, dumb-phone and parental control companies everywhere are capitalizing on studies showing that increased screen time and technology addiction negatively affect children’s development and can lead to severe anxiety, depression, suicide ideation, and a steep decline in sleep quality.

The most effective way to protect your children from these online dangers is, of course, not to give them phones. The death of landlines, however, means parents who want to keep in touch with their kids have few other options.

One of the first companies to corner the market for kids’ phones was Gabb, whose goal is to help parents protect their children from the harms of unfettered access to the internet. It was also designed to save parents money in the long run.

“I think it’s lunacy to spend $500 or $1,000 on a phone for a 12-year-old and to replace that device every couple of years. How did that ever become normal?” Gabb founder Stephen Dalby said in a 2019 blog post.

Gabb’s “kid safe” phones and watches still have all of the calling and texting capabilities a child might need to communicate with his parents but “no internet, social media or unsafe apps” that enable Big Tech to hijack kids’ brains and time.

Gabb’s devices are equipped with software that enables parents to track their children, customize which apps their kids can access, and choose who is on their children’s approved contact lists.

“We believe kids have the right to be protected,” the company’s mission statement declares. “We believe connecting with family is essential. We believe in informed parenting. We believe the best life is one with less screen time.”

The company’s YouTube page features compelling testimonies from buyers like Regan Porter, who said she turned to dumb phones to protect her children from pornography, which kids as young as seven years old have been encountering.

“I know they’re going to be exposed to this in the world, and my job as a parent is to delay that exposure and to make sure it doesn’t happen here,” she explained.

FOMO No More
The dumb or modified smartphones on the market right now are not perfect, but they are useful for anyone looking to prioritize mental health, safety, and real connection without sacrificing digital communication.

Gone are the days controlled by the “fear of missing out” (FOMO) and the incessant urge to scroll social media. Here are the days of detoxing from the digital world and taking back precious time by switching to a good old-fashioned flip or feature phone.

Blaze News investigative writer calls foul on 'hero' Capitol cop Harry Dunn, C*****l P****e, the press, Democrat congressman
DAVE URBANSKI
DECEMBER 12, 2023
Blaze News investigative journalist Steve Baker is alleging he's uncovered major irregularities involving U.S. C*****l P****e Officer Harry Dunn, the C*****l P****e, the press, and a Democrat congressman.

What are the details?
First off, Baker alleges that Dunn — hailed as a "hero" after J*** 6 — is the author of a headline-grabbing, anonymous 2021 letter, penned on C*****l P****e letterhead, which took issue with minority members of Congress who contended there was no need to form a J*** 6 commission.

The existence of the letter came to light May 19, 2021, in numerous mainstream media accounts — but not who wrote it.

In addition, Baker alleges that U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Maryland) encouraged Dunn to write the letter. Baker told Blaze News that Raskin should have been "fully aware that it's a violation of C*****l P****e regulations for Dunn to take political stances in representation of the department."

By signing up, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and agree to receive content that may sometimes include advertisements. You may opt out at any time.
Baker also alleges that:

Dunn violated many departmental directives against using USCP time and resources for political purposes.
The C*****l P****e have known Dunn wrote the letter, initiated an investigation on and disciplinary action against Dunn, and kept Dunn's connection to the letter from public knowledge.
Dunn worked with members of the Capitol press pool in crafting the language of the letter.
Dunn's actions likely disqualified him from testifying before the J*** 6 commission and in the O**h K****rs trial and that his actions were kept from attorneys for the O**h K****rs.
Bradford L. Geyer — an attorney who represented now-imprisoned O**h K****r Kenneth Harrelson — issued a pointed statement to Blaze News about these allegations.

"Similar to Steve Baker's exposure of the fabricated testimony by David Lazarus, U.S. C*****l P****e Officer Harry Dunn also provided inaccurate testimony that led to the wrongful convictions of innocent Americans, including Sergeant Kenneth Harrelson (retired). The impact of this false testimony on the trial cannot be overstated, and regrettably, neither individual has faced any repercussions for corrupting the justice process. It's almost a stroke of luck that Dunn was allowed to testify. As I had anticipated, the line prosecutors handling the case were likely unaware that Dunn had received support from the D.C. press corps in crafting and spreading the letter, which was designed to appear as an official communication. This alone should have been a firing offense," Geyer told Blaze News, adding that "despite their serial lies, both Harry Dunn and Agent Lazarus were commended, while wrongly convicted Americans languish in prison."

The U.S. C*****l P****e, Dunn, and Raskin's office on Monday did not immediately reply to Blaze News' request for comment regarding Baker's allegations.

Baker outlined in a pair of X threads (here and here) last week what he noted his investigation uncovered.

What else?
CNN published a story about the anonymous letter on May 19, 2021, noting significantly that the letter was not an official statement from the C*****l P****e — and that a USCP spokesman said the department does not know where the letter came from.

“The U.S. C*****l P****e does NOT take positions on legislation,” the department said in a statement, CNN added.

— (@)

CNN also said it spoke to the officer who wrote the letter and claimed it represented the view of 40 to 50 officers. While CNN didn't reveal the identity of the officer, the cable news network quoted the officer as saying, “It needed to be out there. It needed to be done." CNN added that it could not independently verify that other officers supported the letter.

What's more, CNN noted in its May 19, 2021, story that Rep. Raskin’s chief of staff circulated the anonymous letter to other chiefs of staff with a note saying, “Mr. Raskin has been in discussions with several rank-and-file C*****l P****e officers who are his constituents. He has listened to them describe their physical and emotional traumas which, for some, have led to months of mental anguish.”

CNN also reported that the note said, "Attached is a letter from unnamed officers (who remain anonymous because they are afraid of retribution for speaking out) about their profound disappointment in the current politics surrounding the v**e on the J****** 6th commission. Mr. Raskin is hoping your bosses will read this letter, and consider the sentiments behind it, before the v**e.”

Anything else?
Baker's first J*** 6 analysis came in October, following countless hours in a House subcommittee office looking at frame after frame of J*** 6 closed-circuit video — and it had him wondering: Did the security chief for then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi perjure himself in the O**h K****rs trial?

Soon after, the slow pace of getting an unrestricted look at everything recorded on video prompted Blaze Media editor in chief Matthew Peterson's appeal to House Speaker Mike Johnson to release all the videos. On Nov. 17, Johnson did just that.

Baker's investigative efforts also resulted in two additional analyses, both focusing on Dunn: "J****** 6 and the N-word that wasn't" and "Harry Dunn's account of J****** 6 does not add up. At all."

Environmentalist Bjorn Lomborg says we waste money in the fight against c*****e c****e.

Governments spends trillions to fight c*****e c****e, but Lomborg says many of these policies are “not an efficient way of spending.”

For saying this, Lomborg has been called "the devil." The Danish government even targeted him for his views on c*****e c****e.

"I'm not trying to do something that's immoral or anything," he tells me. "I'm simply trying to make sure that we get it right."

Lomborg says there are better things society should spend money on. He says we should spend on the “best things first,” things like maternal and newborn health and improving education, rather than squandering billions on pointless gestures toward stopping c*****e c****es.

During a visit to my doctor yesterday, I asked him, "How do you determine when an older person should be put in an old age home?"

"Well," he said, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the person to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand. A normal person would use the bucket because it is bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No," he said. "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near a window?"
