But I did read a lot of Mr. Delgaudio's remarks; however I had to stop when I felt my dinner coming back up. People like him and other self-appointed guardians of the nation's morals make the conservative position look laughable. When he mentions an "Offense to Marriage Act" and a "Bill of Special Gay Rights" he presents them as though they were genuine pieces of proposed legislation that were presented to Congress, but dramatically unmasked at the last moment as a peril to ordinary Americans. It is a lie, as is his imagining a pair of gay men "skipping" straight (no pun intended) to adoption bureaus to obtain a child for sexual purposes.
He uses the most extreme stereotypes to throw a scare into people who may be basically decent, but don't know what to think. Really, he does a great disservice to the conservative position by drawing attention to the most extreme, rabidly h********c minority of that group. When reading his remarks I envisioned him as someone who might turn up in a political cartoon.
The overwhelming majority of L**T people don't fit the usual stereotypes. Those who might fit those images are the most visible, but account for only a small fraction of the gay community. Most gay men and women are outwardly indistinguishable from anyone else.
Thank you for your remarks on this subject. A spirited exchange of views while remaining respectful is one of the principles that make our nation the greatest on earth. Let's keep it that way.
Sir, we do not ask for any special rights. We only want what everyone else already has. There is no such thing as a "Bill of Special Gay Rights," or wh**ever polarising label you put on it to gain attention. Remarks like yours show that you've had to resort to scare tactics to gain allies. You would do better to put your energies into positive things.

I checked with Headquarters, and was told that our agenda was never put down on paper and carelessly distributed to any hetero infidels.
