Thank you for the welcome.

As for the name I really tried to give Trump the benefit of the doubt, alienating old friends on other boards.

But I can no longer do that after what I have witnessed in the last 3 weeks. I was willing to give Trump a chance, even with his boasting, lying and down right crude reputation. I thought being elected would make him change to a certain extent. But that has not happened. I am much too old, seen too much to want my country to go through what I am watching.

Also,I make no excuses for my views. Your advice is noted. And yes I am female. One with an awful lot of common sense.

That Sunday morning in March of 2003, I turned to a friend in church and said, "We're gonna be there (Iraq) for the long haul." My friend, a strong Bush supporter, shook her head saying, "No, we'll be in and out." Bush never did "get" BinLaden.

I don't believe Obama's story, period. The man was dead long before Obama set foot into the White House, imho. I don't know how OUR President Trump is going to put the fires out in the Middle East.

Obama inherited 2 wars. OUR President Trump has inherited how many wars? Seven?

If you have lived through any war,you know it is a thousand times harder to get in than out. There would have been no ISIS if Bush had not invaded the wrong Country, then fired all the POlice and Guards, leaving them with no jobs. That created ISIS in the first place. Obama did not create those wars. Bush did.

Trying to restore a broken economy, our country was in shambles, paying for the 2 wars, trying to create a Health Care plan that should have been done 80 years ago. Something that many Presidents wanted, including Nixon. All l this with no help at all from a Republican Congress that fought Obama from day one. He still managed 70 months of job growth,a tripled Stock Market that I know the middle class profited from,if they had a 401K,IRA,or any long time savings plan.

Now, both Republicans and Trump have their chance. With a President that is boastful, lies every time he opens his mouth, blames every one but him,I see little chance of improvement.

Your turn.

HOW? STATE HOW? You guys only provide insult. Show I have left the sanity station. Some reasonable argument. Maybe I have but need some direction. You only provide insult.

The reason for that is very simple. You lay out facts the other side can nor deny so they revert to old, lying attacks to deflect what a God awful narcusstic bore they elected.

Sooner or later they have to come face to face what an ignorant moron they elected, but until then they simply deflect with attacks because all they can do is distract.

That show Friday was one of the worst I have ever seen in a President. Bush was bad, lied us into war. Trump is going to be a thousand times worse with his ignorance. The only hope we have is the Generals and billionaires I hope care about their country.

He was, I know this for a fact. You see, I knew by the age of 5 that I was going to grow up and, "...marry that man." My father had his doubts concerning Jackies' status, but there was no relativity here in my 5 year old head. My childhood aspiration was snuffed when 'they' k**led off JFK, Jr. He was the only Democrat I would have ever considered to v**e for to be our President. Have you ever wondered why JKF, Jr., titled his magazine "George"? Btw, I was the only kid in school who's parents v**ed for Goldwater. I suspect they v**ed Nixon in 1960, as well.

In all seriousness, FDR didn't come close. JFK was the finality of the Democrat Party, It seems to have morphed into the Democratic Party with LBJ. I gather that's when they turned forever the Progressive Liberal that veered left onto Clinton Turnpike and then took a hard left onto the Obama Freeway of Implosion, by insidious design. Something those wanton liberals still have yet to realize. .

It has been a successful run for them. Everyone wants what they want when they want it and you can't get more liberal than that. The who, what, where, when, why and how of the matter bear no relevance. Kinda like the mentality of a 5 year old that wants......

I have a question. Do you consider Bush 43 a success? Will Trump live up to all his promises?

Are you serious? Is that a convenient rationalization for Chattel S***ery? Did you suffer under its auspices? I think not which explains your attitude. You really haven't a clue do you?

Where in the world did you get Chattel S***ery from my comment? And do you usually just pick out a part of a post, then make up what you think?

Is that supposed to be the rational thinking I am reading about here from men proudly proclaiming they are superior to women? I have an answer to those men. Only in your own mind are you superior! Smart men do not have to boast about how smart they are. Others already know that,or not!

My Grandmother could speak Engish, could not write it. My Grandfather built houses and owned a good size farm. We lived there until I was 4 years old. Must have learned some German when I first began to talk. Enough to be able to read some. I have no memory of learning it.

But the Irish were treated badly, too. The other side of my heritage.

There has always been discrimination.Always will be.

BTW, my name is MaryAnne without the W. I changed it but guess it has not taken effect yet.

My Father was one of those men whose parents came from Hanover Germany, but fought the Germans.

He later said he wondered if he was not fighting his cousins. But that did not matter, this was his Country, the land his parents chose.
