Thinking the same way...when laws are passed there's often some loop hole making a new problem for another law to be made. Nothing will get done except complaints and blame with sides at a standstill. Then it will become old news and public will be complacent not care anymore. Obama has this one already figured out. These are all future liberal v**ers.

You are absolutely right

These people are i*****l a***ns until they can prove that they to come from a country a tribe or an ethnic group that has been granted refugee status By different committees. and yes there as a loophole in the law the law was supposed to protect children who were the victims of human trafficking. and of course Obama and his cronies found a loophole and set this up they knew last November that people in Central America were being told if you get your kid to the border they won't get sent home. now whether they did this on purpose or not is irrelevant they see an opportunity and like good Democrats always say never let a good crisis go to waste they see an opportunity to turn the whole country blue and they're taking it

Republicans are trying to pressure while democrats are trying to negotiate getting something in return for the failed Bush trafficking law being exploited by Central Americans. The Bush law requires that immigrant children at the border be cared for by Dept. of Health and Human Services and given an immigration hearing with preference for citizenship if any family members are citizens. So the Central Americans here are telling all their nephews, nieces and cousins to come on in. Republicans want to change their law but democrats want something in return. Obama began the negotiation with the public announcement of wanting a $4B border law passed.

Sorry Jess I misread the way you wrote that and it shouldn't be why are the media not allowed in the refugee camps these are not refugees
These people are being handling some of them to other i*****l a***ns and being told to report in 90 days What a joke wants more money to solve the problem after the fact instead of stopping the problem at the border A wonder why constitutional conservative and most conservatives and tea party members want to do away with big government

I know I've been to some of the sites he said go to this and you'll see the t***h and it was all slanted so it looked like everything bad was from the right everything good with from the left If they'd really looked at the vet bill they would see that all that did was create a whole bunch of new Regulations and committees in a whole bunch more money expenditure when none of the true problems were being addressed All you have to do is look at the VA and you see what the single payer health care system will get us But all that aside the SCOTUSday really needs to be looked at closely

I think the Federalist papers were used before the constitution. In the end it was decided that the country needs a strong central government or it could not function successfully. I believe this is what the constitution purveys. I do believe Jefferson thought that the mix of government and religion was not a good idea. I am not alone in this belief and I think the Supreme court has ruled in this manner before. I'm not saying Christianity is all bad . I think it has a lot of good ideas and may be the best overall guide to live your life by. Some of the stuff is stupid and no one can live up to the standards set there. It should not be used as a national religion. The constitution is clear about this.

They were written after the Constitution to explain clauses and rights And exactly what they meant

Lol! Forget free speech in honor of American ideals? Too funny.
you as a private citizen absolutely have that right. They as publicly elected officials do not have that right when they are sitting in an official capacity. If for no other reason than to show thanks and respect for all the people in this free country that elected them and fought for that right.

It shouldn't have to be in the job description. Of course they are not expected to agree on everything but they must also realize it's give and take. In the last midterms tea party candidates ran on " no compromise. Many got elected. Do you think it's a good idea to send them to the congress ? Making a deal is the way it's done and you never get everything you want. As far as the military thing , it is my understanding that the military needs and must function under a chain of command. If you get orders to go you don't go look in the constitution to see if it's OK , you go. You are even expected to fire on US citizens if necessary. That sucks but it's true.

I don't know what military you are talking about but when and where I served you would have got your ass kicked for saying something like that, and no you don't have to blindly follow orders. That's why it say's direct for enlisted and lawfull for officers in the oath. and even as an enlisted you not only have the right but obligation to question obviously erroneous orders. oh and by the way it is against the law for the pres to order the U.S. military to fire on U.S. citizens without congressional approval.

Then I would say that you and I can agree to disagree on certain items and agree on others. But our biggest disagreement is on how to arrive at and keep the things we agree on.

I believe in the sanctity of life and find a******n a great tragedy, for all concerned.

Helping "the least of these" in society is more important than fiscal responsibility, balancing the budget, or capitalism. We have nothing, we are nothing, just a clanging symbol, without this as our number one imperative. Unless we take this attitude to heart, all humanity is doomed. Why?

It has been a dog eat dog world from the first baby steps of Civilization, an eye for an eye was the basic way of life; American offered a far better way. E******y, with laws and powers to enforce it! Repeatedly it has striven, despite great opposition, and succeeded in bringing about greater e******y: no government ever did this before our country.

We have the tendency to get too fat in freedom; our liberty can be a posh armchair. Liberty is responsibility first or it is a joke or just convenience. It is sacrifice and work to live in freedom. It is not a gift from our Creator: it is the work given us by our Creator. America seems to be the hands for this work, given by our Creator.

I take the label of liberal to mean one who is a lover of mankind far above its governments. Humanity is first. This k**ls patriotism for any nation. Patriotism is blindness to the plight of humans.

The first part of your statement is t***h regardless of politics. The second part is total hogwash. Patriotism is what drives and keeps a country like our's alive and vibrant. It is when patriotism is stifled that the plight of humanity decreases. When a working man's wages are taken(stolen) to support those to lazy or selfish to work then you have despotism. Parts 3 and 4 are also true part 5 is also total hogwash
