So how do you fix hip displasia????......

I'm definitely a rookie dog owner here...there are veteran dog owner's here that may be able to help more...I could only tell you what I've done so far and who I've spoken with ( besides the vet ) :
After the Vet visit....and a manual check up...he said its most likely hip dysplasia, but wouldn't fully commit to that without X-Rays....he prescribed pain meds....it worked wonders in around 2 days..
She had another break out when she ran too hard....gave pain meds and worked again...

But I certainly don't want to keep doing that . So now I take all precautions....I don't let her jump up on things ...especially if they're pretty high...I don't pick her up....and running or jumping up and down.....I'm a maniac, so I also give her supplements....glucosamine treats....and I'm getting her CBD oil, which some people swear by....I figure if this works, I'll save money in the long run.....so far, so good....even now though, when my dog jumps onto even a low chair, she leaves her back leg kind of in the air and doesn't want to really use it....hard to explain.....but she's happy....I'll take this for sure.....I'm also going to get her a warm coat for the winter....
But, you definitely have to try and get him to the Vet...they've seen these types of situations many times...its relieving to you as well....I felt much better after bringing my dog to get a professional opinion

That or subluxed patellas which more of a problem in small dogs than is hip dysplasia. The patellas are as likely to move out of place as are the hip joints. Just like your knee caps can slip out of place, so can the dogs.. The only thing that I would question about subluxed patella or hip dysplasia is that he is d**gging the back leg, not just not wanting to put weight on it. That could be indicative of a stroke, or cancer. A vet exam is required to diagnose the difference and therefore prescribe the correct treatment. As I suggested a sort of "go fund me" privately done between friends just to help her out with maybe $100 all together Heck, I would be happy to start it with $10 or so, if others re interested.

I was also told that by someone...that it could be the knee....I guess nothing can be definitive without X-Rays.....my vet did a manual test....but one more episode and I'm definitely going to do the X-Rays...just to be sure.....there are a lot of veteran dog owners on here....I'm definitely still learning....I also can't believe how common these ailments are. I've met so many people who's dogs have both hip and/or knees issues.......
And, if a " go fund me " page is started, I would donate...

It actually really does sound like hip dysplasia....my dog never screamed in pain....I would suggest not to pick him up.....and it comes in bouts.....has an " episode" and than gets better.....I will always have the pain meds on hand for the next episode.....I have a feeling your vet will probably diagnose this even without X-Rays....I'm finding out that it's very common in dogs...certain breeds especially

Normalizing Satanism in America: Demon statue in Arkansas state capitol; satanic highway cleanup in Indiana
Posted on August 11, 2018 by Dr. Eowyn

The Oxford Dictionaries defines "œnorm" as something that is usual, typical, or standard. To "œnormalize" some d*****t thing or behavior, therefore, is to make that object or behavior a "œnorm" - that is, making it acceptable by having the public perceive it as usual, typical, standard, and humdrum ordinary.

America has already surrendered to sodomy and "œt*********rism" (a biological impossibility). What is underway now is the normalization of evil -” of d*****t predilection and behaviors like p********a, bestiality, cannibalism, and satanism

This post is about the continuing efforts to normalize satanism and satanists via:
1.The installation of a satanic statue in the state capitol of Arkansas.
2.A satanic group adopting a stretch of highway in Indiana.

(1) Statue of Satan in Arkansas State Capitol

America already has public satanic statues and monuments in Detroit, Michigan, in a veterans park in Belle Plaine, MN, and in a park in Boca Raton, Florida, installed by a public school teacher no less.

Now, a long planned-for statue of Satan will be installed right next to a Ten Commandments monument on the capitol grounds of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Last year, tens of thousands of people signed a petition asking the Arkansas state government to reject an application by the Satanic Temple to install a statue of Satan in the state capitol -” to no avail.

Now comes news that the demon statue is set to be unveiled next Thursday, August 16, 2018.

There'™s a petition asking the Arkansas state government to reject the statue. The petition will be hand delivered to:
- Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson
- his Secretary of State Mark Martin
- and Arkansas' Capitol Arts & Grounds Commission members

As of this morning, there were 25,018 signatures; 40,000 signatures are needed.

(2) Highway Cleanup by Satanic Temple of Indiana

Another way to normalize satanism is for satanic groups to present themselves as just another "œordinary" civic group.

To that end, the Satanic Temple of Indiana has adopted a stretch of U.S. 421 for cleanup.

Fox 59 reports, July 9, 2018, that the Satanic Temple Indiana has completed their first highway cleanup project as part of its "œInverted Crossroads" campaign.

Note: "œInverted crossroads" is really an inverted, upside-down cross.

The satanists adopted a stretch of US 421 and they are required to complete at least four cleanings throughout the year. Their portion of US 421 begins at US 32 and runs south for two miles. As part of the highway cleanup program, a sign will go up promoting the Satanic group.

Damien Blackmoor, the co-head of Satanic Temple'™s chapter in Indiana, said: "œThe cleaning initiative is a great way to get our chapter members involved while giving back to the state. We'™re all very excited for this campaign."

John Horvat, Vice-President of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP), reminds us that this highway cleanup by Satanic Temple of Indiana is part of a continuing effort by Satanists "œto break down the barriers of horror towards the EVIL ONE. This is the last thing that our nation needs. Satanism brings God'™s anger on our country. And making the public insensitive to it and even accepting it as normal only increases the problem."
I bought a beagle so my daughter could have a dog. I helped raise beagles for rabbit hunting when I was in my teens and thought I understood them. WRONG! they are not house animals. They pick a spot to pee, they pick another spot to poop, they give you no sign they need to go out. They are outside dogs, great at what they want to do which isn't living indoors. They want to run rabbits and in some case depending on how they're trained, deer.

Our beagle was a very affectionate female, one day while riding in the back of the pickup with my daughter she, the beagle decided to jump out. Broke both of her hind legs. Cost us a couple of thousand of $ to get her somewhat fixed. A year or so later she some how got preggo, trying to jump through an open car window she completely screwed her back up again, another couple thousand, and then she disappeared, not my doing.

We've had cats run over and squished that we've spent tons of money to bring them back to life. We have another rescue, as all but the beagle are, who is almost a Russian Blue, Ornery as anyone Aunti has, tears me up, while purring from the scratching I give her.

She will be our last pet. I realize that will probably shorten our lives but it is becoming a problem for me to have to take care of two very needy females.

My main prayer is that I out live them both. Mike [
Yes ! My dog is mostly beagle...they really like to do their thing.....she could stop and smell a stick for 5 straight minutes ! I'm like ...seriously ??? I really love beagles and beagle mixes...just great dogs....when I was a kid, we had a beagle mix....she would sometimes get out at night...sit in the street and howl at the moon....neighbors would be calling and complaining....but it was so funny to watch.....I love all dogs.....but I love my beagles and beagle mixes.....

Who's living in fear or guilt?
I fear nothing on this puny planet and although I fall short on a daily basis, I never feel guilt and always get a good night sleep.

That was all taken away with the ultimate sacrifice of Yahusha. All you have to do is ask him into your heart and believe that He died, He was buried, and He was risen.

Sounds to me like you are attempting to reassure yourself.

Yahusha ?????...is that fancy for Jesus...

You have to believe those things....if you don't Yahusha will send you to H.E.double hockey sticks......he's not very understanding and VERY needy

Thank you for rescuing your family member from the puppy mill. I would love to see most of them closed down. Few are in business to preserve the breed. At least she now has someone who cares.

You are so right, having an animal is almost as expensive as having a child.
Take in consideration quality food and g***ming.... a dog can cost $4,000 a year or more.
Add into the mix vet bills with a twice a year exam.... they are not inexpensive..The older they get, the more expensive they become.

I do recommend insurance for pets. They reimburse about 80 percent of vet procedures and some also include a trip to the g***mer.

I hope that the originator of this thread takes advantage of some of the services available to pay her pet's medical bills.

Dogs are incredible. We must remember that in the wild, showing pain would be a vulnerability and often leads to exile of the dog or attacks. The alpha dog (in the home environment, this is the individual who the dog sees as his "master") is responsible for pack protection and therefore, attack or even k**l weak members of the pack. This is why they will hide from their human until they either get well or die. Alternative in the wolf mind is being k**led or marked as weak and driven away. Once driven away from the pack, they can not return even if they recover. So.... they react in self preservation. As for body functions, each time they eliminate body waste there are odors that we may not be able to smell, such as red blood cells.... these orders are examined by the rest of the pack for health. Again, smelling blood or strong urine can get the wolf sent away or k**led. These orders are also picked up by other packs. So, a dog passing stones or infection will protect themselves and their pack and eliminate as far away as possible to ensure they are not attracting larger carnivores into their den. Dogs are not that far in evolution from wolves. The first sign that something is going wrong with a dog, it happens in the eyes. The third eyelid will become visible. As they grow sicker or in more pain then they stop or become picky eaters..... by the time they go into hiding, they need emergency care. The good thing, in a loving home.... you will see the issues for what they are. Sometimes a dog will respond to herbal medications that boost their own i****e s****m and do just fine. I use herbs first, a dog's immune system is very strong and what would k**l you or me....well, they can bounce right back.

Sorry, I do go on .....

BTW.... I am happy your friend is back to their old self!!

Thanks...she really is a great dog....she had a tough life ...had puppies in a puppy mill at 1 years old....I took her in....I'm definetly not out of the woods with her.....she's had 2 episodes...if she has another , they have to do X-Rays.....got my fingers crossed....

This may sound mean, but people have to realize that if they get a dog, they eventually will be an expense....Dogs get sick...or need treatment....I know they have dog health insurance...I'm not sure if it's any good....but people have to realize that saving your dog can be pricey but important ! I would h**e to hear someone lose their dog when it could have been helped
