You know Mr Gringo, she is a widow and I think that she needs a good friend, such as you.....Dreaming of a Dad that will be a perfect match for my Mom! The family accuses me of being a wanta be match maker! Seriously, Mom speaks very highly of you. As a matter of fact, she gave me a list to whom I should look for comments or topics created, you were the first on that list. Of course she put AuntiE and a few others, but you were at the top.

So I am feeding his ego and providing him with entertainment. That is okay with me, everyone needs a pass time. You are correct, and I did acknowledge that he often makes posts that are deliberate in insulting and his approach needs to be softened. When, or if he should start being abusive to me, or Mom tells me that I can not read his comments, I will stop and just pass over his topics. I do however appreciate your kindness to me and your gentlemanly approach. Thanks.

He is as vile as they come, deliberately so. That is his entertainment, and pastime.

Big winners indeed. They win, grandmaw and grandpaw have to tighten the notches on their belts to make ends meet. Care for the elderly has been cut, but as long as the people that was on State and government programs now get to be on the government program that pays for their health ...... seems to me that the situation has not changed, other than the elders programs were raped to pay for what the the start up costs of a program that will not be self sufficient in your lifetime.

So, let me see if I understand you. You are in favor of Obamacare only because it has a direct impact on your son and grandson. So the millions of people who has lost their insurance, or are paying staggering premiums is immaterial as long as you or your family gets the benefits. How progressive and Liberal of you!

Beijing hotel workers already 'fed up' with Obama entourage in 3400-square-foot, $8,350-per-night suite inconveniencing 'pretty much everyone' – and the first lady's mother is 'barking at the staff'

Michelle Obama, her daughters and her mother Marian Robinson are staying in a sumptuous p**********l suite at a Beijing Westin hotel
Mrs. Robinson has been 'barking at the staff since she arrived,' a hotel staffer said, adding that 'we can't wait for this to be over'
Secret Service agents are monopolizing elevators and booting high-paying guests from their rooms to occupy a block of space near the first lady
Both front and back doors of the hotel are blocked off, with Chinese and U.S. security agents screening everyone who enters
Ordinary Chinese describe Mrs. Obama and her family as kind and gracious, but hotel staff are 'fed up'

Michelle Obama and three of her family members are staying in a $8,350-per-night Beijing p**********l suite, but despite a 24-hour butler and other perks that come with the lodging, her entourage has inconvenienced 'pretty much everyone' and made the hotel staff 'fed up,' a well-placed hotel staffer has told MailOnline.

The sumptuous pad at the Westin Beijing Chaoyang hotel – its website calls the room 'an oasis of comfort – is a 3,400-square-foot masterpiece including a private steam room, 'corner sofas with silk pillows,' and in-room dining for six.

China and its people are very polite people. I would imagine that Ms. Obama, who has horrible manners, her daughters running amuck and demanding, with Ms. Obama's mother barking orders would wear any civilized people crazy. Say, who is paying for her mother? Would that be us, the US Tax payers?

That has been my experience, however, if you push back, they cry foul and run to mosque with stories of r****m and religious unfairness.

America is fast becoming un-American. The displacement of Americans is coming from the South and also from Muslim cults. Muslims brag about "Capitols" they are setting up, and here is their current list:

1.Detroit
2.Washington, D.C.
3.Cedar Rapids, Iowa
4.Philadelphia
5.New York
6.Atlanta
7.Peoria, Illinois
8.San Francisco
9.Houston
10.Chicago

Mosques now equal or outnumber churches some 2 to 1. They estimate that there will be 4 to 1 by the end of this decade. This is a quote from an interview in Houston, TX "Muslims make up 1.2 percent of the population in Houston, about double the national average.

“I’m not surprised. I think it may be even higher,” said Ameer Abuhalimeh, executive director of the Islamic Da’wah Center in downtown Houston. “I’ve seen it increasing, growing dramatically. We’ve made huge progress.” http://blog.chron.com/believeitornot/2010/08/houston-among-the-top-10-muslim-cities-in-u-s/

Hello My Friends:

I want to posit a question to see how many thinking people there are. Any thinking person knows that President Obama did not sit in a corner and write the Affordable Care Act. Also, he is unlikely to benefit in any way. Politicians have no need for any of this. And please skip the silliness about how the politicians are going to benefit by winning e******ns with the act. That is not in the question.

In fact, there was obviously no one author. But there was a person who was in charge of every period and letter in ObamaCare.

A wise man once told me that when any program is being formed, ignore the blather about who is going to benefit and instead see who wrote it and then you will know.

Only if you know that can you answer the question. Here it is again: Who Wrote the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) and therefore who is going to benefit from the enactment of that particular law?

So who was that person and who is going to benefit? Look it up.

It is sad, but the act of beheading is part of every history on the planet. Indeed even in this modern times, child sacrifice along with the brutal murder of captives is common practice in some primitive cultures. In Africa, there are those that believe that their god requires children and babies to be k**led for the betterment of their tribes. It is sad, but even in the Bible there are reports of beheadings. In 2004 a young man from Pennsylvania was beheaded and video taped; the video went v***l with millions of red blooded Americans watching it, as though it were entertainment. If you believe in the New Testament, there is a passage about the beheaded. "And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. "
- Revelation 20:4. If what was spoke of in Revelations are true prophecy of the end times, then we should expect to see more of these crimes. Accordingly, this practice will be worldwide. With the spread of the cult of Muslim invasion of Europe and now of the US. It would seem to point in that direction.

I did not focus on unemployment because it was not the topic of this topic. Would you enjoy a discussion on unemployment? If so, then perhaps I can comment if you start a new topic. I would find it interesting, and I think that my thoughts and research into the subject will add, rather than be a sidebar.

Unemployment, in my opinion, has many factors. But, I believe that unemployment results from an increase in demand rates, while the economy operates below its growth rate and potential output. Henceforth, the economy faces a great blow under this circumstance.

Yes, I am sure that there has been more than one topic that I have not read because of terms used. But, I have been posting to BoJester for months, he is always, without exception, been very forthcoming with information, polite, and easy to discuss issues. He has been attacked time and time again, and I find it very disingenuous of people who talk about religion, and call him name; talk about how we need to get along, but refuse to converse in a civilized way; they (and yes, even you) attack the messenger rather than the message. I know this will not endear myself to you, but I see that BoJester has a message he want to get across and it seems that the only way he can get your and other's attention is by starting his post with something that may upset you. Even this thread, where BoJester was not participating, he was attacked. Sad really when there are so many issues that need to be addressed.

I just went back through your comments, perhaps you should look at them from an outsider's point of view!

Bo,
What you say makes total sense to me. After I posted, I started researching foods, what is permitted on these programs and what is not; by these programs I am talking about the government supported WIC. Then income vice nutrition, and such. What I found opened my eyes. Breads, cereals, (carb loaded or fat loaded) foods are permitted on this program, and cost per item is significantly less than fresh fruit, vegetables, lean meat, and fresh fish. Fresh fish, one has to be careful, due to water pollution and lead. But, fresh ocean fish is very expensive and one on state or government programs will be less apt to buy one fish whereas they could afford 20 or more frozen meals....high in salt and fat. A family of 4 can not afford good wholesome foods on what is allocated under the government programs. Also I read about a condition that is called food poverty. Interesting. I will not go into detail, but here is a link to a study and paper. http://archive.unu.edu/unupress/unupbooks/uu22we/uu22we0f.htm

Thank you for the post, and your reply. I do learn so much from your posts. Only because you make me research and think.

As far as your question about obesity, it make coincide with low wages, limited or no access to proper healthcare, which includes nutrition.

That fact, along with reduced unemployment benefits, cutbacks in the SNAP and WIC programs, force more people to eat unhealthy food more often.

Most unhealthy food is higher in calories and fat and sugar.

I simply posted the article for intelligent people like you to read and decide for yourself which policies and philosophies work the best for the most.
